      Havrisik signed with the Browns on Monday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: The kicker rejoined the team after getting waived May 14. Havrisik signed a reserve/future contract with the Browns in January after spending time on Cleveland's practice squad last year.     • Browns sign Lucas Havrisik to deal
      Browns signed K Lucas Havrisik, formerly of the Rams.

      Advice: Havrisik had a brief stint with the Browns last season but never attempted a field goal for them. The third-year kicker did, however, make nine appearances for the Rams last season, converting on 15-of-20 field goals, with four of them coming from 40-plus yards out. He’ll presumably get a chance to compete with Dustin Hopkins and Cade York for the Browns’ starting kicker role this season. Last season, Hopkins converted on 33-of-36 of his field goal attempts.       Advice: Havrisik signed a reserve/future contract with Cleveland in January after the Rams waived him. He was expected to at least have the opportunity to compete with Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) and Cade York for the team's kicker job in 2024, but instead, he'll become a free agent once again.
