• Cap-flush Raiders give Maxx Crosby pay raise
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Raiders have given Maxx Crosby a $6 million 2024 raise as part of a renegotiated contract.

Advice: They have also reportedly moved ahead another $1.5 million for 2025. They are essentially placating Crosby by moving up some money he was going to see, anyways, as he plays out the final three years of his current deal. Crosby feels like he’s been around forever but is heading into only his age-27 campaign. Raiders coach Antonio Pierce has made it clear he views Crosby as the heart and soul of the team. They are doing more to keep him happy than you would usually see from an NFL team. Rotoworld Today, 6:40 pm

  • Participating in OTAs
Stills (knee) was on the field for OTAs on Monday, per the Cardinals' official site.

Advice: Stills ended last season on the IR due to a knee injury. The 2023 sixth-round pick finished his rookie season with 47 tackles (18 solo), including 3.5 sacks, plus one fumble recovery over 15 games while playing 508 snaps on defense. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:23 pm

  • Report: Micah Parsons to report for minicamp
NFL Network’s Jane Slater reports that Cowboys EDGE Micah Parsons will report to Dallas for media responsibilities next week and minicamp.

Advice: Parsons has been absent from Cowboys OTAs as a new contract looms ahead for him. However, he told Slater that he will be “in house” for media responsibilities next week and for minicamp. Parsons is entering the fourth year of his rookie deal and while the Cowboys picked up his fifth-year option, the All-Pro is headed for a payday soon. Every missed offseason activity, such as OTAs, brings speculation of a holdout. The fact that Parsons plans to report for media duties and minicamp should ease Cowboys fans’ concerns at least for a little bit. Rotoworld Tuesday, 4:26 pm

  • Getting work in
Enagbare (knee) participated in OTAs on Tuesday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

Advice: Enagbare was able to avoid a significant injury, which was originally believed to be an ACL tear, during the Packers' wild-card win over the Cowboys last season. It's not clear to what level he participated, and if he did team or individual drills. However, the fact that he was on the field this early in his recovery is good news for the South Carolina product. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:08 pm

  • Could hold out of OTAs
Heyward (groin) plans to skip Steelers OTAs unless he receives a contract extension, Joe Rutter of TribLive.com reports.

Advice: Heyward is on track to earn $16 million in 2024, but he has no such assurances for after the upcoming season. He's coming off a down year in which he recorded just 2.0 sacks in 11 games, but he'll still probably be a plus starter for Pittsburgh in 2024 if he doesn't continue to hold out for a new contract. • Cam Heyward not planning to attend Steelers OTAs
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Steelers DE Cameron Heyward does not plan to attend OTAs while seeking a contract extension.

Advice: Heyward has not attended voluntary offseason workouts and looks to sit out OTAs as he awaits a contract extension. The six-time Pro Bowler is entering the final season of a four-year, $65 million contract. He has been with the Steelers since getting drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Heyward just turned 35 and is a three-time first-team All-Pro, though his 2023 season was plagued by injury. He appeared in 11 games, tallying two sacks and winning the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for his off-the-field work. Fowler notes that Heyward has never missed an offseason program. The Steelers will work to get an extension done with a mainstay of their defense for over the last decade. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:54 pm

  • On pace with recovery
Elliss (shoulder) should be fully recovered from shoulder surgery by training camp, Mike Klis of 9News reports.

Advice: Elliss underwent surgery to repair a torn shoulder labrum six months ago, but he still isn't quite 100 percent. However, the Broncos' 2024 third-round selection was able to take part in walkthroughs and individual portions of the team's recent rookie minicamp. The son of former NFL player Luther Elliss, Jonah projects to be a pass-rush specialist after recording 12 sacks in just 10 games at Utah last season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:49 pm

Brown was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Brown headed to San Francisco in February after appearing in 12 games over two seasons with the Rams. The Northwestern product will depart the team, along with center Corey Luciano, to make room for recent additions Chris Hubbard and Shakel Brown. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:31 pm
