  • Gets cut loose
Harris (undisclosed) has been waived from IR with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Advice: Harris reverted to IR on Wednesday after clearing waivers. Instead of being forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign, he'll now have the chance to find a new opportunity once he can prove himself healthy. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:30 pm

  • The Texans and Nico Collins reach new deal
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports the Texans have re-signed Nico Collins to a three-year, $72 million deal.

Advice: Collins’ breakout 2023 campaign (80-1,297-8) has paid off as he’s now contractually set as the Texans’ WR1. Even with Diggs being traded to the Texans, this comes as no surprise as Collins is the younger (and home grown) talent. Collins should be considered in the second round in all one-quarterback, redraft fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:18 pm

  • Back on field
Mallory (hamstring) participated in OTAs last week.

Advice: Mallory finished the 2023 campaign sidelined by an injury, but it appears the 2023 fifth-round selection has fully recovered. Although he was able to contribute 18 receptions and 207 yards in 12 regular-season games during his rookie campaign, he faces a crowded tight end room in Indianapolis with the return of Jelani Woods from a Hamstring injury, as well as holdovers Kylen Granson, Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree. • Not at OTAs, as expected
Higgins and teammate Ja'Marr Chase are not present at voluntary OTAs on Tuesday, Ben Baby of ESPN reports.

Advice: Higgins still hasn't signed the franchise tag Cincinnati placed on him back in February, and with Chase also eligible for an extension, both of the Bengals' top wideouts appear to be vying for new deals. Until Higgins signs the franchise tag, he won't be eligible to report for organized team activities. He formally requested a trade after having the franchise tag placed on him but has since indicated he anticipates suiting up for the Bengals for the 2024 season, and coach Zac Taylor plainly stated that he's not worried about the absence of either Higgins or Chase at this time. • Absent from OTAs
Chase and teammate Tee Higgins are not present for voluntary OTAs on Tuesday as they continue to negotiate potential contract extensions, Ben Baby of ESPN reports.

Advice: Chase hasn't yet participated in voluntary workouts for Cincinnati this offseason, and he's now eligible for a contract extension. The Bengals picked up his fifth-year option. Higgins, meanwhile, has yet to sign his franchise tender after Cincinnati placed the one-year tag on him back in February. Coach Zac Taylor stated that he's not worried about the absence of either wideout, saying "they'll be ready and focused when it's time to come back." For now, though, Joe Burrow (wrist) will be taking reps without either of his top receivers present. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:38 pm

  • Participating in OTAs
Slayton (thumb) participated in Tuesday's OTAs practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Slayton is working toward a hopeful contract extension with the Giants, but he's on the field for voluntary workouts at OTAs. The 2019 fifth-round pick still appears slated for a starting gig, though rookie first-rounder Malik Nabers should be the top man in this wide receiver corps, with Jalin Hyatt and Wan'Dale Robinson also in the mix. Slayton appears fully healthy after having dealt with a thumb injury down the stretch in 2023. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:27 pm

  • Embracing QB competition
Stidham said he's "super excited" to compete with Bo Nix and Zach Wilson for quarterback reps at OTAs and believes he could win the starting job, Jeff Legwold of ESPN reports.

Advice: Stidham said he's "very confident that I can be the guy for us next year.'' The 2019 fourth-rounder isn't unaccustomed to such situations, noting that he "dealt with this before" when New England drafted Mac Jones in the first round. Now, Stidham finds himself in the veteran role of an offseason competition, with Nix having been selected 12th overall in April's draft and Wilson still coming along in his development. Coach Sean Payton has made clear that the Broncos are approaching the offseason as a three-way competition for the starting gig, per Legwold. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:09 pm

  • Bills OC Joe Brady: ‘This is Josh Allen’s offense’
Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady said “at the end of the day, this is Josh Allen’s offense.”

Advice: It might go without saying, but it’s further confirmation that the Bills have finally accepted that the team must let Allen cook if they are to go anywhere in the competitive AFC. As recently as last offseason, Buffalo coaches talked openly about limiting Allen’s rushing role and encouraging him to take easy check-down throws instead of riskier downfield shots. Allen was fantasy football’s top scoring quarterback during Brady’s time as Bills play caller in 2023. He logged at least eight rushing attempts in six of his final seven games — including 12 in a season-ending loss to the Chiefs — after dialing down his running in the first half of the season. A fully unleashed Allen is a frightening prospect for Buffalo opponents. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:50 am

  • Brandon McManus accused of sexual assault
ESPN’s Michael DiRocco reports Commanders kicker Brandon McManus is being accused of sexual assault dating back to 2023 during his time with the Jaguars.

Advice: According to DiRocco, ESPN obtained court documents stating that McManus allegedly assaulted two women during the Jaguars’ flight to London last season. In the lawsuit filed on Friday in Duval County Circuit Civil Court, the women, who are identified as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, allege that McManus rubbed himself against them and was grinding against them. It also accuses the Jaguars of failing to supervise McManus and create a safe environment for the airplane staff. There is no comment from McManus at this time, and the Jaguars have reportedly declined to comment through a spokesman, according to DiRocco. The victims are reportedly seeking more than $1 million and are demanding a jury trial. McManus signed a one-year, $3.6 million contract with the Commanders earlier this offseason after going 30-for-37 on field goal attempts. We’ll likely know more about this situation in the coming days and will provide any additional updates as they come. Shortly after news of the lawsuit broke, the Commanders , “Earlier today, we were made aware of the civil lawsuit filed on May 24 against Brandon McManus. We take allegations of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter. We have been in communication with the League Office and Brandon’s representation, and will reserve further comment at this time.” Rotoworld Monday, 11:37 am
