  • Bengals sign 4th rounder Erick All to rookie deal
Bengals signed TE Erick All to a rookie contract.

Advice: All was selected in the fourth round with the 115th overall pick out of the University of Iowa. While he spent his final collegiate season with the Hawkeyes, he played four seasons at Michigan, with 40 career games and 19 starts. Over that time he caught 75 passes for 864 yards and five TDs. However, All tore the ACL eight games into the 2023 season and is still six months into his recovery, which he’s doing at the Bengals’ facility. “I’m feeling good,” All said about recovery. “Every day I’m feeling good. I’m just ready to attack physical therapy and get back to you know, playing. I feel great. I move great. It’s just a matter of time because things are still healing in there.” It’s unlikely All makes an impact in 2024 given his injury and how hard the transition to the NFL can be for tight ends.

  • Falcons hoard former 49ers TEs, sign Dwelley
Falcons signed TE Ross Dwelley, formerly of the 49ers.

Advice: The Falcons also signed Charlie Woerner earlier in the offseason, another former 49ers tight end. Both should serve as primary blockers behind and alongside the electric Kyle Pitts, who should have the best opportunity of his professional career for a true breakout season. • Titans agree to terms with TE Nick Vannett
Titans signed veteran TE Nick Vannett.

Advice: The two sides agreed to terms on Monday although the terms of the contract have not yet been made public. The eight-year veteran came into the league with the Seahawks in 2016, spending time with the Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Giants, and Chargers since departing Seattle. Vannett carries sparse fantasy value even though the Titans have little in the way of depth behind presumed starter Chigoziem Okonkwo. Rotoworld Monday, 5:14 pm

  • Time up in Philly
The Eagles waived Togiai on Monday.

Advice: Togiai has spent the last three seasons on Philadelphia's practice squad, but he was elevated for only one game in 2023 and failed to record any stats. As Togiai now heads into his age-27 season, he will need to compete for a depth opportunity elsewhere in the league. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:54 am

  • Joins Detroit
The Lions signed Hesse on Monday.

Advice: Hesse appeared in three games with Atlanta last season, but across 48 offensive snaps he wasn't targeted. He also played 28 snaps on special teams. Now, Hesse will get a chance to compete for a depth role in Detroit's crowded tight end room. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:03 am

  • Done with Panthers
Carolina waived Pierce on Friday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Advice: Pierce agreed to a reserve/future contract with the Panthers back in January, but they decided to let him go after adding talent at tight end in the draft. He'll now look for another chance with a new team. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:50 pm

  • Chance for roster spot improves
Adkins will have the chance to win a roster spot in Denver as a depth tight end, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Adkins appeared in 10 games for the Broncos in 2023, though he exited Week 18 early with a hamstring injury. Presumably healthy again, he'll look to maintain a spot on the roster as a primarily a special-teams contributor. Also in Denver's tight end mix are fellow returnees Adam Trautman, Greg Dulcich and Lucas Krull. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:22 pm

  • Battling for depth role
Davidson (undisclosed) is competing for one of the Bills' final roster spots at tight end this offseason, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Davidson missed the entire 2023 campaign after the Bills placed him on injured reserve last June. The nature of the 25-year-old's injury was never disclosed, though he looks to be past the issue now that he's being viewed as a candidate for a depth role at tight end. Davidson's primary competition for slotting behind Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox should come from Tre' McKitty and Quintin Morris. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:04 pm
