  • Report: Rosen more likely to be dealt Thurs
ESPN's Adam Schefter considers Josh Rosen more likely to be traded on Friday than Thursday.

Advice: Per Schefter, the teams to watch are the Chargers, Dolphins and Giants. ESPN's Josina Anderson reported earlier Thursday that GM Steve Keim will not force a trade on Thursday. A deal Friday would still allow for 2019 day-two picks to be dealt, while 2020 would also be on the table. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:17 am

  • Colt McCoy 'still a possibility' as starter
FoxSports.com's Peter Schrager reports Washington doesn't view Case Keenum as the default starter.

Advice: Colt McCoy is reportedly "still very much a possibility" as the No. 1 atop Washington's depth chart even after the 32-year-old vet underwent a third procedure on his broken leg following a setback this offseason. The Skins sent the Broncos a 2020 sixth-round pick for Keenum's services in March, so they're not heavily invested in Denver's ex-signal-caller. Amid rumors owner Dan Snyder is attempting to overrule his staff and move up in tomorrow's draft, it's likely Washington heads into camp with Keenum, McCoy, and a rookie battling for the role of starter. • Steelers ink Big Ben to extension through '21
Steelers signed QB Ben Roethlisberger to a two-year, $63 million extension through 2021.

Advice: Ben had been heading into the final year of his deal, and this extension was a priority ahead of draft weekend. The deal locks Roethlisberger into Pittsburgh through his age-39 season and will likely keep him in town for the remainder of his career. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:40 am

  • Rams officially exercise Goff's option year
Rams exercised QB Jared Goff's fifth-year team option for 2020.

Advice: The move was a formality. Speaking last month, coach Sean McVay said he was unsure when the team might begin extension talks with its quarterback. Goff has made big strides both years under McVay but has remained a player who must be managed and manipulated. It is possible McVay will begin dreaming bigger as Goff's contract nears its conclusion, though by far the most likely outcome remains Goff staying in Los Angeles. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:09 pm

  • Colt McCoy underwent another leg procedure
Colt McCoy underwent a third procedure on his broken leg.

Advice: According to coach Jay Gruden, McCoy suffered a setback because he and the team were too "aggressive" in their attempts to get him back on the field late last season. "We didn’t give it time enough to heal the right way," Gruden said, "so they went back in and did a small procedure to make sure that thing is on track to be full strength by the season." McCoy reportedly could be back with the team next week, but this is beginning to look like an injury that will linger. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:32 am
