  • Broncos won't ask Joe Flacco to restructure
The Broncos aren't expected to restructure Joe Flacco's contract.

Advice: Flacco is the 10th highest paid quarterback in the league with a $18.5 million salary. Denver doesn't plan to ask him to take a pay cut despite losing his starting job to Lamar Jackson and missing time with a hip injury last year. Flacco is owed $63 million the next three seasons, though none of that is guaranteed. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:14 am

  • Report: Foles 'keeping tabs on' Giants
NJ.com reports free agent Nick Foles is "expected to keep tabs on" the Giants' quarterback situation.

Advice: Someone with "knowledge of Foles' thinking" believes he would "probably" be open to signing with the Giants if they move on from Eli Manning. Foles, of course, will be highly interested in any opening. The Giants have continued to insist Manning is in their 2019 plans. There is still time for that to change, but it remains the most likely scenario for the G-Men. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 4:09 pm

  • Falcons open to re-signing Schaub
Falcons coach Dan Quinn said free agent Matt Schaub could be re-signed.

Advice: Schaub has been Matt Ryan's backup the last three seasons. He's looked washed when called into spot duty but wouldn't cost much to keep. Even if he re-signs, the Falcons should bring in competition forĀ 37-year-old Schaub. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:26 pm

  • Broncos expected to release or trade Keenum
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Broncos "will now shop" Case Keenum after acquiring Joe Flacco from the Ravens on Wednesday.

Advice: Keenum inked a two-year, $36 million deal with Denver last offseason and was never going to be anything more than a short-term stopgap, one that now looks like will only last a single season. Keenum is guaranteed $7 million in 2019 and carries a $21 million cap hit with an $18 million base salary. Only a team that views Keenum as a starter would trade for that financial commitment. If the Broncos end up having to release Keenum, they'd clear $11 million in cap space and absorb a $10 million dead-money hit. Either way, Keenum is expected to be done in Denver. • Kingsbury tries to quell Murray speculation
Speaking Tuesday, Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury tried to tamp down speculation that the team would select Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray at No. 1 overall.

Advice: "Josh (Rosen) is our guy," Kingsbury said. He joins team president Michael Bidwill in insisting the team will stick with Rosen and pass on a player Kingsbury is on video as saying should be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. The reality is, this is a storyline that could remain alive for some time. The ultimate hang up is that Rosen could probably only fetch a "sell low" price after his dismal rookie year.
