    • Back for minicamp
Slay (back) was spotted practicing at Thursday's minicamp session, Cayden Steele of NJ.com reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old cornerback was carted off the field with a back injury during the Eagles' wild-card loss to the Buccaneers, but it now seems as if he's moved past the issue. Slay, a six-time Pro-Bowler, defended 14 passes, including two interceptions, in just 12 games last season. Now that Slay has returned to form, he's expected to serve as the Eagles' top corner once again in 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:17 pm

    • Dealing with injury
Bradberry was absent from the Eagles' minicamp session Thursday after sustaining an undisclosed injury Tuesday, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.

Advice: The ninth-year veteran is dealing with an unspecified injury that's kept him out of mandatory minicamp, but there's no word on the severity as of now. Bradberry had a down year after receiving All-Pro honors in 2022, and he's expected to remain an integral part of Philadelphia's secondary once he moves past this issue. • Getting closer to return
McKinstry (foot) is nearing a return to health, and coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday "there's a chance" he could begin taking on-field reps at the Saints' mandatory minicamp, Matthew Paras of NOLA.com reports.

Advice: McKinstry is recovering from surgery undergone to address a Jones fracture in his right foot, an injury discovered at the NFL Scouting Combine. Due to the surgery McKinstry has missed rookie minicamp and OTAs, but it appears he's nearing a return. Allen said "I don't think we'll see him in any team work next week" at mandatory minicamp, but that the rookie second-round pick could be "maybe working in some walkthroughs and individual type stuff." • Could start camp on PUP list
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that Diggs (knee) "looks great" as he works his way back from a torn ACL but could still begin training camp on the PUP list, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: The 25-year-old cornerback earned consecutive Pro Bowl nods in his second and third NFL seasons before tearing his ACL in September, bringing an early end to his fourth campaign. Though Diggs could still be limited by the time camp gets underway, the expectation for now is that he'll be ready to go for Week 1. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:32 pm

    • Sirianni: James Bradberry taking reps at safety
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said DB James Bradberry is taking reps at safety during mandatory minicamp.

Advice: The Eagles added a pair of corners early through the draft and are now giving the veteran Bradberry looks at safety. The 30-year-old joined the Eagles two seasons ago and has started every game he has played at cornerback. If this is a permanent move, rookie first-rounder Quinyon Mitchell would be slated to start at corner across from Darius Slay. Bradberry would split reps at safety with Reed Blankenship and C.J. Gardner-Johnson likely starting. Bradberry was a second-team All-Pro corner in 2022 and the Eagles are now looking to utilize all the secondary talent they have with as much versatility as possible.
