Rodgers, who missed the entire 2023 season due to a suspension for violating the NFL's gambling policy, has been one of Philadelphia's most impressive players this offseason, Tim McManus of ESPN reports.

Advice: Rodgers doesn't seem to have slowed down at all despite being a year removed from the NFL field, with teammate A.J. Brown saying "he's flying around, and he's going to do special stuff for us this year." McManus reports that Rodgers will be in position to compete for a starting spot at outside corner opposite Darius Slay during training camp, primarily vying with Kelee Ringo and rookie first-round pick Quinyon Mitchell for the role. • Time up in Seattle
The Seahawks waived Torrence on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Advice: Torrence signed with the Seahawks shortly after going unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he'll now need to search for an opportunity elsewhere in the league. The 6-foot-3 corner spent OTAs and mandatory minicamp in Seattle. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:21 pm

  • Making good recovery progress
Coach Sean McVay said during June minicamp that White (Achilles) is "making good progress" but is uncertain for the start of training camp in late July, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Advice: White is currently working his way back from a right Achilles' tendon tear that cut his 2023 season short in October, and in 2022 he only suited up for six games before suffering a torn ACL. Since signing a one-year deal with the Rams, White has spent most of the offseason working off to the side with trainers, but he was reportedly able to participate in walkthroughs during the final week of OTAs. The 29-year-old figures to start at cornerback when he's healthy, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be ready to practice by the start of training camp, or to play a full share of snaps Week 1. • Let go by Jets
The Jets cut Hayes on Monday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Per the report, the move arrives a day after the cornerback -- who first saw NFL action in 2019 -- was arrested in Alabama for possession of marijuana. Hayes, who signed with the Jets' practice squad last October, recorded two tackles in Week 6 of the 2023 season and then spent the remainder of the campaign on the team's practice squad. Jets released CB Tae Hayes.

  • Lewis Cine at risk of being a training camp cut?
According to an article on ESPN, Vikings S Lewis Cine ‘might have the toughest chance of earning a roster spot’ this season.

Advice: The article also noted that Cine “appeared to be no better than the sixth safety on the [Vikings’] roster.” Cine was drafted by the Vikings with the No. 32 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft but has played in just 10 games since entering the league. The former Georgia safety suffered a compound fracture to his left leg in Week 4 of his rookie season and has yet to make a start as a pro. Cine has just one career tackle to his name and has played on only 10 career defensive snaps. Between his limited usage over two seasons and the latest rumors out of camp, it sounds like Cine is a legitimate risk of being left off of the 53-man roster despite the former first-rounder being just two years into his career. • White (Achilles) ‘making good progress’ in rehab
Rams HC Sean McVay said Tre’Davious White (Achilles) is “making good progress” in his recovery.

Advice: White suffered a torn Achilles in Week 4 of last season and is still rehabbing his way back from the injury. The former Bill signed a one-year deal with the Rams earlier this offseason, and it doesn’t sound like McVay is ready to commit to White seeing a full workload when training camp kicks off next month. Still, the early reports on his recovery are encouraging, but most of his work this offseason has been done off to the side during team practices. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:14 pm

  • Latches on with New Orleans
The Saints signed McCain on Thursday.

Advice: McCain was waived by the Panthers with an undisclosed injury last September, and he appears to now be back to full health. The 26-year-old hasn't played in an NFL game since getting into two contests with Philadelphia in 2021 but will have a chance in training camp to compete for a depth role in New Orleans' secondary. • Signs with hometown team
Teamer is slated to sign a one-year contract with the Saints on Thursday, Matthew Paras of NOLA.com reports.

Advice: Teamer, a New Orleans native and former Tulane standout, spent the last three seasons in Las Vegas but attended the Saints' rookie minicamp and mandatory minicamp. He was waived by the Raiders back in November and also arrested for a DUI. Now, Teamer faces an opportunity to compete for a depth role at safety, where his ability to contribute on special teams could also come in handy. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:59 am
