• Aiyuk: Likely to play in ‘a Niner uniform’ in 2024
Speaking on The Pivot podcast, Brandon Aiyuk said, “If I were to take a guess, probably a Niner uniform,” when asked about what uniform he thinks he’ll be wearing in 2024.

Advice: Aiyuk also added that he would be and playing with his close friend Jayden Daniels if the negotiations with the 49ers don’t go as he hopes. The fifth-year receiver is hoping to land a long-term extension with the 49ers before the start of the season but is willing to sign an extension elsewhere if the 49ers were to trade him. Aiyuk totaled 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns last season and is reportedly eyeing a deal similar to the one Amon-Ra St. Brown received earlier this offseason. St. Brown will earn nearly $28 million on his new deal with the Lions, putting him amongst the highest-paid receivers in the league. Barring a surprise trade, it sounds like Aiyuk will play at least one more season with the 49ers as they look to capitalize on their current Super Bowl window. Lombardi also pointed out that if Aiyuk were to be traded, it would be to a destination determined by the 49ers, not Aiyuk. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

  • Adds depth to Baltimore WR corps
The Ravens signed Kirkwood on Friday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

Advice: Kirkwood was brought aboard by the Ravens after having participated in minicamp on a tryout basis. In 13 games for the Saints during the 2023 regular season, the 29-year-old caught five of his nine targets for 37 yards and a TD. With the Ravens, Kirkwood will compete for a depth role in a wideout corps that also includes Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, Devontez Walker, Tylan Wallace and Deonte Harty. • Ravens sign special teamer Keith Kirkwood
Ravens signed WR Keith Kirkwood, formerly of the Saints.

Advice: Kirkwood has spent the majority of his career with the Saints after joining them as a UDFA out of Temple in 2018. The veteran receiver participated in the Ravens’ minicamp on a tryout basis earlier this month and will now have a chance to stick on the 53-man roster in training camp. Kirkwood has caught 24 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns in his career and will need to flash on special teams if he hopes to make the team. Rotoworld Today, 1:11 pm

  • Raiders may feature WR Tre Tucker in slot
Raiders team reporter Levi Edwards believes second-year WR Tre Tucker will be the starting slot receiver in three-wide receiver sets this season.

Advice: Tucker operated as a vertical slot receiver last year, ranking top-two in aDot (17.5), yards per reception (17.8) and deep-target rate (30.0 percent) among 17 rookie wide receivers with at least 75 slot receiving snaps. He caught 100.0 percent of his targets deemed catchable by PFF. The Raiders deep tight end group, featuring Michael Mayer and first-round rookie Brock Bowers, make for tough interior target competition but Tucker’s continuing offseason drum beat and defined role work in his favor. • Bengals RBs ‘far more active’ in pass game
The Athletic’s Paul Dehner reports Bengals running backs have been “far more active” in the team’s passing game in offseason practices.

Advice: It’s unclear who will take on the Bengals’ primary pass-catching role out of the backfield, though Chase Brown excelled in that role as a rookie in 2023. The speedy Brown caught 14 of his 15 targets for 156 yards and a touchdown last season. Zack Moss could also mix in on passing downs, though he seems more likely to take on Cincinnati’s primary early down role. Last season, Joe Mixon saw an 11 percent target share (64 targets) as the team’s lead back. More pass-game usage could be a huge statistical boon for Brown if he seizes the pass catching role this summer. Rotoworld Today, 10:10 am

  • MIN HC compliments Addison’s improved strength
Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said Jordan Addison has gotten stronger and more physical this year.

Advice: “Jordan Addison had as good of an offseason program as really you can ask for,” O’Connell told ESPN. "[He is] a guy that had a ton of success in Year 1. And really, from a standpoint of getting a little stronger, getting a little bit more comfortable playing through contact and still playing with that great burst and transition that he has, you saw some real growth there [this spring].” Coming off an impressive rookie campaign that includes 70 grabs, 911 yards, and ten touchdowns, Addison will once again slot in as Minnesota’s WR2 behind Justin Jefferson. About 20 percent of Addison’s 2023 targets were more than 20 yards downfield. He caught six of 20 deep shots for 250 yards and four touchdowns. Rotoworld Today, 7:58 am

  • Impresses at spring practices
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said Addison had "as good of an offseason program as really you can ask for," ESPN's Kevin Seifert reports.

Advice: O'Connell said the wideout is stronger than he was as a rookie, and Addison mentioned that he's working to improve his technique on releases. Addison seems to have enjoyed a healthy offseason program, whereas last year he missed spring practices with an unspecified injury after the Vikings drafted him 23rd overall. He was on pace for 1,000 yards before Week 16 when an ankle sprain slowed him down, and he scored five touchdowns of at least 37 yards (plus a pair of 20-yarders) en route to a 70-911-10 receiving line across 108 targets and 17 games. There should be more target share for the taking with TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) uncertain for the early part of the season and former No. 3 receiver K.J. Osborn leaving in free agency, but there's also potential for QB trouble and reduced overall passing volume with Sam Darnold and/or J.J. McCarthy under center. Rotowire.com Today, 7:44 am

  • Puka Nacua mirroring Cooper Kupp’s offseason
Rams WR Puka Nacua is training alongside WR Cooper Kupp this offseason.

Advice: NFL.com’s Nick Shook reports that Nacua trained alongside Kupp this offseason. Rams wide receivers coach Eric Yarber said “He looks just like Cooper. He’s lost so much body fat and gained so muscle, which enabled him to move more efficiently now.” Nacua adjusted his diet and lost roughly 10 pounds, gaining better control of his body. Though he already had a record-setting rookie year, Nacua has worked to take the next step in his game, with help from Kupp. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:15 pm

  • Competition for starting gig
Turner and Dax Hill are competing for the starting perimeter cornerback role opposite Cam Taylor-Britt, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Turner claimed a starting role with Cincinnati by Week 12 of his rookie season, but the 2023 second-round pick is now in a true competition with Hill, who lined up at safety last season. Conway reports that Hill could have an early lead in the competition as of mandatory minicamp, but it will be difficult to make much of offseason practices until full pads come on at training camp in late July.
