    Wiley (thumb) was spotted working out during Wednesday's mandatory minicamp session, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

    Advice: Wiley injured his thumb during this year's Senior Bowl, but with his participation in Washington's mandatory minicamp, it seems as if he's moved past the issue. The 23-year-old running back out of Arizona was picked up by the Commanders after going undrafted, and he likely has an outside chance at making the team's final roster.     Milne (groin) was spotted working out during the Commanders' mandatory minicamp session Thursday, Zach Selby of the team's official site reports.

    Advice: Milne missed all of Washington's 2023 campaign due to a groin injury sustained in late August of last year, but it now seems as if he's moved past the issue. The BYU product was the Commanders' primary return man the last time he was on the field (2022), tallying 311 punt return yards and 300 kick return yards in 15 games.   • Najee Harris did not practice at Steelers minicamp
    ESPN’s Brooke Pryor reports Najee Harris did not participate in Steelers minicamp practices despite attending.

    Advice: Harris was reportedly excused from Tuesday’s practice but did not participate in Wednesday or Thursday’s practices despite being present. Mike Tomlin assured Pryor that Harris’ absence is “not anything that’s going to be an issue whatsoever, regarding health.” Tomlin furthered the point by sharing his view that minicamp is best used to learn more about lesser-known players. Whatever Harris’ issue is, it is not expected to impact his Week 1 availability at this time.   • On track for training camp
    Coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday he expects Slayton (undisclosed) to be ready for the start of training camp late July, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: Slayton suffered an undisclosed injury at Tuesday's minicamp practice, but it doesn't appear the Giants are overly concerned about his health. Slayton is positioned for a starting gig in New York's wide receiver corps, alongside rookie first-round addition Malik Nabers, plus incumbent Wan'Dale Robinson, who should be more effective now that he's another year removed from his ACL tear.   • Kamara has ‘contract-related’ absence
    NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Alvin Kamara’s departure from Saints minicamp “is contract-related.”

    Advice: This comes straight from Kamara’s agent, Brad Cicala. Kamara’s contract runs through the next two seasons and has just $1 million in guarantees remaining, likely prompting the decision. It’s worth noting that Kamara is currently set to earn just over $18 million this season, making any “contract-related” issues a bit confusing, but we’ll likely learn more about this in the coming days. The Saints can notably save more than $18 million by cutting the soon-to-be 29-year-old back after this season.   • Injured, should be ready for camp
    Coach Jim Harbaugh said Thursday that Edwards (undisclosed) worked to the side with trainers during mandatory minicamp and that there's a "high possibility" he will be 100 percent healthy for the start of training camp, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.

    Advice: Edwards' injury details remain undisclosed, and while it doesn't currently appear that the Chargers are seriously worried about his status, fantasy managers would certainly prefer for the 29-year-old not to be nicked up at this stage of the offseason. Harbaugh also revealed that Edwards wasn't present for voluntary OTAs. Following the departure of Austin Ekeler, Edwards appears to have a clear path to the No. 1 backfield gig to begin the 2024 season, health permitting. J.K. Dobbins, rookie sixth-rounder Kimani Vidal, and 2022 fourth-rounder Isaiah Spiller are all also options to compete for work.     Coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that Ferguson is "having a great offseason" and praised the tight end's "consistency and his passion," Patrik Walker of the Cowboys' official site reports.

    Advice: Ferguson, a 2022 fourth-round pick, enjoyed a real breakout season as Dallas' top tight end last season, with a 71-761-5 receiving line and Pro Bowl honors. The third-year pro is now reportedly improving at multiple facets of the game, and he could be positioned to take the next step forward as a fantasy producer. Dak Prescott's clear top target will be CeeDee Lamb, with Brandin Cooks working as the No. 2 wideout, but at this stage 2023 second-rounder Luke Schoonmaker (hamstring) doesn't look like a true threat to Ferguson's workload.     Shakir (lower body) said at Thursday's final minicamp practice that he expects to be 100 percent healthy for the start of training camp in late July, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.

    Advice: Shakir limped off the field with an apparent lower-body injury Tuesday, and while he hasn't practiced since, there doesn't seem to be substantial concern about his health. The 2022 fifth-round pick logged a strong end to the 2023 campaign and looks positioned as a key starter in Buffalo's wide receiver corps, which lost Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis but added Curtis Samuel and Keon Coleman, plus depth contributors Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chase Claypool and Mack Hollins.   • Sutton a potential training camp holdout?
    When asked about whether or not he would report to Broncos training camp, Courtland Sutton said, “We’ll see what happens.”

    Advice: Despite reporting for mandatory minicamp this week, Sutton was unwilling to commit to reporting for Broncos training camp next month. The veteran receiver is still in search of a new contract and reiterated his desire to stay with the team, saying, “This is where I want to go hoist the Lombardi Trophy. This is the place where I want to retire.” Sutton, 28, caught 59 passes for 772 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns last season. He hasn’t totaled more than 829 yards since 2019 but remains a reliable threat on the outside, averaging 13.3 YPR over the last four years. He’s reportedly on a new deal, but there’s been little word on whether the Broncos are looking to extend him at this time.
