    Advice: Valdes-Scantling previously visited with the Chargers, ultimately leaving without a contract, and found himself in Buffalo Monday to visit with the Bills. Josh Allen and the Bills found themselves without a vertical threat following the departure of Gabe Davis, something that likely prompted the visit with the team following the NFL Draft. Even so, Valdes-Scantling failed to fully capitalize on his opportunity in Kansas City and would likely generate more steam than is worth in fantasy circles should he land in Buffalo.   • Titans agree to terms with TE Nick Vannett

    Advice: The two sides agreed to terms on Monday although the terms of the contract have not yet been made public. The eight-year veteran came into the league with the Seahawks in 2016, spending time with the Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Giants, and Chargers since departing Seattle. Dorsett, 31, will presumably get a chance to earn a spot on the 53-man roster in training camp but hasn’t done much in the league over the last several years.   • Lands four-year, $212M extension
    The Lions signed Goff to a four-year, $212 million contract extension Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

    Advice: The deal contains $170 million guaranteed, and Goff is now the highest-paid player in Lions franchise history. The 2016 No. 1 overall pick of the Rams, Goff was acquired from Los Angeles in the Matthew Stafford haul from the 2021 offseason and has resurrected his career under Detroit offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. In three seasons with Detroit, Goff has completed 66.5 percent of his passes, up from 63.4 percent with Los Angeles, and has thrown for 12,258 yards with a splendid 78:27 TD:INT. He's lowered his turnover rate with Detroit and just helped lead the team to the NFC Championship Game last season.
