Although they were stuck with the No. 9 overall selection, GREEN LEGION remained unfazed, building a roster capable of topping any team in Ocean. With Cooper Kupp, Ja'Marr Chase, and Hunter Renfrow expected to combine for the highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league, GREEN LEGION are projected to finish with a record of 12-2 (8,253 points), placing them 2nd.

  • Christian Watson

Best Pick: What a great mid-round value for GREEN LEGION, who got Watson at No. 208, about seven rounds later than his ADP of 130. Watson is projected to score 268 fantasy points with the Packers, making him the No. 5 WR for this squad.

  • Joe Burrow

Going out on a Limb: You know when they ask at airport security if your bags have been with you at all times? We have the same question about your draft. Or at least we're questioning the decision to draft Burrow in the 1st round, about three rounds earlier than his ADP of 51. Projected to score 879 fantasy points this season with the Bengals, he'll attempt to perform similarly to last year when he threw for 4,611 yards and 34 TDs with 14 interceptions to earn 856 fantasy points. Burrow will slot in as the No. 3 QB for GREEN LEGION, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • GREEN LEGION will live and die with the Bengals this season, as the selections of Joe Burrow, Logan Wilson, and Ja'Marr Chase give them three players from Cincinnati, more than any other team in Ocean. League-wide, the Cardinals were the most popular team, as 15 of them were selected in the draft.

  • GREEN LEGION face a tough task in Week 8 when they have six players on a bye, led by Patrick Mahomes, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Skyy Moore. KayCee Chiefs, your Week 8 opponent, won't be quite as short-handed with only two players (Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Gerald Everett) on the sideline.

  • With a first-half strength of schedule rated as the 3rd-easiest according to projected records, GREEN LEGION have one of the best schedules in the early-going in Ocean. Despite that, for the season as a whole, GREEN LEGION face a pretty fair path that ranks as the 8th hardest.

  • GREEN LEGION appear to be trying to catch lightning in a bottle, assembling a squad with an average of 3.9 years of NFL experience, ranking as the youngest group in the league. Demonstrating their commitment to youth, they selected three rookies (Skyy Moore, Rachaad White, and Christian Watson). In total, there were 26 rookies selected over the course of the Ocean draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
