Despite receiving the last pick of the opening round, Jory was able to mastermind a brilliant draft. With Saquon Barkley and Aaron Jones slated to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league, Jory are projected to finish atop No Punt Intended with a record of 13-1 (2,094 points).

  • Joe Burrow

Best Pick: Jory notched a tremendous early-round value in selecting Burrow with the 16th pick in the 5th round, about 26 spots later than his ADP of 54. After a season in which he threw for 4,611 yards and 34 TDs with 14 INTs, totaling 314 fantasy points, Burrow is projected to score 335 fantasy points with the Bengals. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Brandin Cooks

Going out on a Limb: You may have been a little overeager when deciding to draft Cooks in the 4th round, about 22 picks earlier than his ADP of 71. Projected to score 216 fantasy points this season with the Texans, he will need to outperform expectations to improve on last year when he grabbed 90 balls for 1,037 yards and 6 TDs, earning 232 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Cooks will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Jory to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • With six quarterbacks already off the board, Jory saw a run coming and got in early, taking Joe Burrow in the 5th round. In the round that followed, four more quarterbacks went off the board.

  • Jory are in for a rude awakening in Week 9 when they have four players on a bye (Saquon Barkley, Diontae Johnson, San Francisco, and Pat Freiermuth). Perhaps leveling the playing field, your Week 9 opponent, Motherboy, will be facing a similar struggle with three players (Ezekiel Elliott, Chase Claypool, and David Bell) on a bye.

  • Going off projections, Jory have one of the least challenging schedules in No Punt Intended this season with a strength of schedule that rates as the 2nd easiest.

  • Even with an opening at TE in the 6th round, Jory selected WR Michael Thomas with the 81st pick, filling the WR/RB flex position instead of a more important position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
