After receiving a favorable draft slot (No. 7 overall), Jersey Giants had an excellent showing. After picking up multiple 49ers in the early rounds (Deebo Samuel and Eli Mitchell), Jersey Giants are predicted to finish 1st in Fantasy Football 2022 with a mark of 13-1 (2,020 points).

  • Jakobi Meyers

Best Pick: What a tremendous late-round value for Jersey Giants, who selected Meyers in the 13th round, about four rounds later than his ADP of 131. Following a season in which he snagged 83 passes for 866 yards and 2 TDs, totaling 145 fantasy points, Meyers is projected to score 134 fantasy points with the Patriots. That makes him the No. 7 WR for this squad.

  • Kadarius Toney

Stretch Pick: You must have had some inside intel when deciding to choose Toney at No. 106, about 20 slots earlier than his ADP of 126. Perhaps you're onto something, though. Projected to score 176 fantasy points this season with the Giants, he seems poised to top his rookie year when he recorded 39 receptions for 420 yards in 9 games, totaling 63 fantasy points. Toney will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Jersey Giants, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • With only one quarterback off the board, Jersey Giants predicted a run developing and got in early, taking Justin Herbert with the 8th pick in the 4th round. Three more quarterbacks were chosen in the round that followed.

  • Jersey Giants face a tough task in Week 9 when they have four players on a bye (Eli Mitchell, Deebo Samuel, Diontae Johnson, and Kadarius Toney). On the bright side, Vito's Swag Team, your Week 9 opponent, will be facing a similar quandary with three players (Saquon Barkley, Najee Harris, and Deshaun Watson) on a bye week.

  • Jersey Giants face one of the least challenging schedules in Fantasy Football 2022 this season based on projected records with a strength of schedule rated as the 3rd easiest.

  • In spite of unfilled positions at WR and TE in the 6th round, Jersey Giants drafted RB Rhamondre Stevenson at No. 78, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position instead of a more important position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
