Having the top pick in the draft doesn't guarantee a championship-caliber squad. But in this case, it very well could. Lambeau Leapers did what top-flight fantasy footballers do when they land the No. 1 overall pick. They built a juggernaut. The team is notably tough at the running back position, as Christian McCaffrey and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are slated to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Lambeau Leapers are predicted to finish in first place in League of the Ordinary with a mark of 12-2 (3,441 points).

  • Javonte Williams

Biggest Steal: Lambeau Leapers netted a mid-round bargain when they picked up Williams in the 10th round, about 16 spots later than his ADP of 84. Williams is projected to score 276 fantasy points with the Broncos, which would make him the No. 5 RB for this squad.

  • Chase Claypool

Going out on a Limb: Either you know something your opponents don't or you jumped the gun with your selection of Claypool at No. 61, about 14 picks earlier than his ADP of 75. Then again, perhaps you're onto something. Projected to score 252 fantasy points this season with the Steelers, he seems poised to top his rookie year when he had 62 catches for 873 yards and 9 TDs to post 223 fantasy points. According to projections, Claypool will slot in as the No. 4 WR for Lambeau Leapers to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • Better late than never. With the selection of TE Noah Fant (No. 80 overall), you became the last manager in the league to draft a tight end.

  • Week 11 will be a rude awakening for Lambeau Leapers, as they have four players on a bye (Robert Woods, Javonte Williams, Noah Fant, and Matt Gay). Your Week 11 opponent, Bob Loblaw, will have a full squad without any players on a bye week.

  • With a strength of schedule that rates as the 2nd-easiest based on projected records, Lambeau Leapers face one of the lightest schedules in League of the Ordinary this season.

  • Despite offensive openings at WR and TE in the 6th round, Lambeau Leapers chose RB Mike Davis at No. 60, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position rather than a position of greater importance.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
