Blessed with a juicy draft position (No. 2 overall), Kayfabe had an exceptional performance. The team is particularly strong at the running back position, as Christian McCaffrey and Chris Carson are expected to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Kayfabe are predicted to finish 1st in Rams Fans United League with a record of 13-1 (1,932 points).

  • Henry Ruggs III

Biggest Steal: What a great late-round value for Kayfabe, who selected Ruggs III at No. 142, about two rounds later than his ADP of 126. Coming off a rookie season in which he grabbed 26 passes for 452 yards and 2 TDs in 13 games, totaling 62 fantasy points, Ruggs III is projected to score 123 fantasy points with the Raiders. That makes him the No. 6 WR for this squad.

  • Tyler Boyd

Going out on a Limb: We're going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you took the dog out right before the selection of Boyd with the 13th pick of the 6th round, about 16 picks earlier than his ADP of 99. Granted, you may be onto something? Projected to score 136 fantasy points this season with the Bengals, he looks poised to beat last year when he hauled in 79 balls for 841 yards and 4 TDs to post 113 fantasy points. Boyd will slot in as the No. 4 WR for Kayfabe, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • Patience is a virtue. You became the last manager in the league to draft a wide receiver with your selection of Adam Thielen (No. 58 overall).

  • Kayfabe face a tough challenge in Week 6 when they have four players on a bye (Matt Ryan, George Kittle, Robbie Gould, and New Orleans). Your Week 6 opponent, Indrid Cold, won't be quite as limited with only two players (Russell Gage and San Francisco) on a bye week.

  • Kayfabe won't face too many speed bumps in Rams Fans United League this season based on projected records with a strength of schedule rated as the easiest. Don't be fooled, though, your work is only just getting started. Soft schedules can turn problematic without notice if you aren't active.

  • In spite of open slots at QB and WR in the 4th round, Kayfabe drafted RB Damien Harris at No. 55, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position instead of a higher leverage position. They were the second squad to make their first flex pick.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
