Starting with a juicy draft position (No. 2 overall), Plano tiburon had an exceptional performance. After picking up multiple Vikings in the early rounds (Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson), Plano tiburon are projected to finish 2nd in Payton34 FFL with a record of 12-2 (1,845 points).

  • Aaron Rodgers

Best Pick: What a nice mid-round value for Plano tiburon, who got Rodgers with the 2nd pick in the 7th round, about 13 slots later than his ADP of 61. After a season in which he threw for 4,299 yards and 48 TDs with 5 INTs, totaling 537 fantasy points, Rodgers is projected to score 505 fantasy points with the Packers. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • James Robinson

Reach Pick: You might have gotten a little ahead of yourself when deciding to draft Robinson at No. 38, about 34 picks earlier than his ADP of 72. Projected to score 186 fantasy points this season with the Jaguars, he will need to outperform expectations to top his rookie year when he rushed for 1,118 yards and 7 TDs and recorded 54 receptions for 366 yards and 3 TDs to post 201 fantasy points. Based on projections, Robinson will slot in as the No. 2 RB for Plano tiburon to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • Week 7 could be a rude awakening for Plano tiburon, as they have four players on a bye (Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, James Robinson, and Mike Williams). Perhaps leveling the playing field, your Week 7 opponent, Dak to the Future, will be tackling a similar quandary with three players (Kirk Cousins, Najee Harris, and CeeDee Lamb) on the sideline.

  • With a strength of schedule ranked as the easiest according to projections, Plano tiburon won't face too many speed bumps in Payton34 FFL this season. But don't get complacent. Light schedules can turn troublesome at any time if you don't give your team the attention it demands.

  • Plano tiburon clearly focused on accumulating elite talent, having compiled a top-heavy squad. Combined, the top players from each position are really strong, projected to score the highest point total in the league. The rest of the roster, alternatively, seems to have been a bit of an afterthought, as they're expected to combine for a point total ranking as the lowest.

  • Despite open slots at QB and TE in the 5th round, Plano tiburon drafted WR Brandon Aiyuk with the 50th pick, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position rather than a higher leverage position. They were the second squad to fill a flex position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
