Although they were stuck with the No. 10 overall selection, The Minor Prophets remained poised, building a roster capable of dominating any team in Hiawatha Elite League. The team is notably deep at the running back position, as Jonathan Taylor and J.K. Dobbins are expected to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. The Minor Prophets are predicted to finish with a record of 11-3 (1,855 points), earning them 1st place.

  • Kenny Golladay

Most Likely to Improve: Of all the offensive picks by The Minor Prophets, Golladay seems poised to take the biggest leap over last year. Coming off a season in which he recorded 20 receptions for 338 yards and 2 TDs in 5 games, totaling 46 fantasy points, Golladay is projected to score 161 fantasy points with the Giants, a 252% gain. That makes him a valuable No. 2 WR for this squad.

  • Tony Pollard

Stretch Pick: It seems everyone fancies themselves the next fantasy expert these days, so there's no telling who led you to choose Pollard at No. 111, about 14 spots earlier than his ADP of 125. Projected to score 87 fantasy points this season with the Cowboys, he'll need to outperform expectations to beat last year when he rushed for 435 yards and 4 TDs and had 28 catches for 193 yards and 1 TD, totaling 93 fantasy points. Based on projections, Pollard will slot in as the No. 5 RB for The Minor Prophets to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • The Minor Prophets seem to be all in on the Cowboys this season, as the selections of Dak Prescott, Tony Pollard, and Greg Zuerlein give them three players from Dallas, more than any other team in Hiawatha Elite League. League-wide, the most popular team was the Buccaneers, as 10 of them were selected in the draft.

  • Week 7 could bring on a case of the Bye Week Blues for The Minor Prophets, as they have three players on a bye (Dak Prescott, Greg Zuerlein, and Tony Pollard). Perhaps leveling the playing field, your Week 7 opponent, Nerd Herd, will be tackling a similar conundrum with two players (Keenan Allen and Mike Williams) on a bye week.

  • With a strength of schedule that rates as the 3rd-easiest according to projected records, The Minor Prophets have drawn one of the most coveted schedules in Hiawatha Elite League this season.

  • Even with unfilled positions at QB, WR, and TE in the 3rd round, The Minor Prophets chose RB J.K. Dobbins with the 34th pick, filling the WR/RB flex position rather than a position of higher importance. They were the first squad to fill a flex position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
