Despite drawing the last pick in the opening round, Axel was able to put together a brilliant draft. After picking up multiple Ravens in the early rounds (Gus Edwards and Ty'Son Williams), Axel are predicted to finish atop Fantasy Dynasty League - S10 with a record of 13-1 (3,548 points).

  • Saquon Barkley

Poised for a Breakout: Axel obviously know how to pick 'em, and Barkley seems to be the most likely among the keepers to take a step forward. Coming off a season in which he carried 19 times for 34 yards in 2 games, totaling 15 fantasy points, Barkley is projected to score 310 fantasy points with the Giants. That makes him a valuable No. 2 RB for this squad.

  • Gus Edwards

Reach Pick: You might have been a little overeager when deciding to select Edwards with the 8th pick of the 1st round, about 13 rounds earlier than his ADP of 116. Maybe you're onto something, though. Projected to score 203 fantasy points this season with the Ravens, he seems set to surpass last year when he carried 144 times for 723 yards and 6 TDs, totaling 131 fantasy points. Edwards will slot in as the No. 5 RB for Axel, according to projections.

Draft Notes

  • If you're not first, you're last. You beat your opponents to the punch at quarterback, drafting Trevor Lawrence (No. 24 overall) as the first QB off the board.

  • Axel face a tough task in Week 8 when they have eight players on a bye, led by Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, and Gus Edwards. Your Week 8 opponent, Apollo, won't be nearly as hamstrung with only one player (Henry Ruggs III) getting the week off.

  • With a strength of schedule that rates as the easiest according to projected records, Axel have a straightforward path in Fantasy Dynasty League - S10 this season. But that doesn't mean you should take it easy. Light schedules can turn difficult at any time for fantasy managers who don't stay diligent.

  • With an average of 5 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league, Axel are balancing both youth and experience. They selected one rookie (Trevor Lawrence). In total, there were 20 rookies selected over the course of the Fantasy Dynasty League - S10 draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
