A superb draft-day performance by the GM of MOBSQUAD turned the No. 5 overall pick into a projected 1st-place finish. MOBSQUAD are predicted to finish 13-0 (3,255 points) in Chi2la.

  • Jarvis Landry

Biggest Steal: MOBSQUAD netted an outstanding mid-round bargain in selecting Landry in the 14th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 90. Following a season in which he snagged 83 passes for 1,174 yards and 6 TDs, totaling 205 fantasy points, Landry is projected to score 207 fantasy points with the Browns. That makes him a valuable No. 3 WR for this squad.

  • Keenan Allen

Going out on a Limb: Are you in a sharing mood? We'd love to learn what prompted you to choose Allen at No. 28, about four rounds earlier than his ADP of 63. Projected to score 195 fantasy points this season with the Chargers, he will need to outperform expectations to beat last year when he recorded 104 receptions for 1,199 yards and 6 TDs to post 214 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Allen will slot in as the No. 6 WR for MOBSQUAD to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • MOBSQUAD are particularly deep at quarterback, taking more than any other team in the league with three, compared to the league average of just 1.9. Meanwhile, the squad looks a little thin at running back, drafting fewer than any team in the league with just two. The average for the league is 5.

  • Fashionably late? You were the last manager in the league to draft a running back and tight end with Le'Veon Bell (No. 53 overall) and Evan Engram (No. 76 overall).

  • Week 8 will be a tough task for MOBSQUAD, as they have six players on a bye, led by Deshaun Watson, Lamar Jackson, and Courtland Sutton. Your Week 8 opponent, Smack down boyz, will have four players on the sideline.

  • MOBSQUAD won't face too many obstacles in Chi2la this season according to projections with a strength of schedule rated as the easiest. That doesn't mean you can take it easy, though. Soft schedules can become challenging without warning for fantasy managers who don't stay diligent.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
