Although they drew the No. 10 overall selection, Plague of Frogs held their ground, building a roster capable of topping any team in First Covenant FL Prime. After picking up multiple Chiefs in the early rounds (Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill), Plague of Frogs are predicted to finish with a record of 11-3 (1,806 points), good enough for 2nd.

  • Jordan Howard

Biggest Steal: Plague of Frogs notched a fantastic late-round value when they selected Howard in the 13th round, about four rounds later than his ADP of 86. Following a season in which he rushed for 935 yards and 9 TDs and had 20 receptions for 145 yards, totaling 160 fantasy points, Howard is projected to score 188 fantasy points with the Eagles. That makes him a valuable No. 3 RB for this squad.

  • Dak Prescott

Reach Pick: Do you know something nobody else does? There's no other reason you would draft Prescott at No. 91, about 27 spots earlier than his ADP of 118. Then again, perhaps you're onto something? Projected to score 285 fantasy points this season with the Cowboys, he seems set to take a step forward from last year when he threw for 3,885 yards and 22 TDs with 8 interceptions and ran for 305 yards and 6 TDs to post 270 fantasy points. But do you really need so many QBs? After all, you can only start one a week. Prescott will slot in as the No. 2 QB for Plague of Frogs, according to projected points.

Draft Notes

  • With only one tight end off the board, Plague of Frogs predicted a run coming and jumped in early, taking George Kittle with the 1st pick in the 4th round. In the ensuing round, three more tight ends were selected.

  • Plague of Frogs went especially light at tight end, drafting fewer than any team in the league with only one, trailing the league average of 2.2.

  • The early bird gets the worm. You got out in front of your opponents at quarterback, drafting Patrick Mahomes (No. 10 overall) as the first QB off the board. You were more patient at running back, becoming the last owner in the league to draft a RB with the selection of Kerryon Johnson (No. 50 overall).

  • With the youngest group in the league at an average of 3.8 years of NFL experience, Plague of Frogs must be trying to catch lightning in a bottle. Driving home that point, they selected one rookie (Tony Pollard). In total, there were 10 rookies selected over the course of the First Covenant FL Prime draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
