Blessed with a juicy draft position (No. 2 overall), U/asaabstory had an exceptional performance. The team is notably strong at wide receiver, as Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr. are slated to combine for the highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league. U/asaabstory are predicted to finish 1st in Nano Europe League (Beta) with a record of 12-1 (2,071 points).

  • Phillip Lindsay

Best Pick: U/asaabstory notched a nice late-round bargain when they selected Lindsay at No. 98, about six rounds later than his ADP of 57. Following a rookie season in which he rushed for 1,037 yards and 9 TDs and had 35 receptions for 241 yards and 1 TD, totaling 205 fantasy points, Lindsay is projected to score 222 fantasy points with the Broncos. That makes him a valuable No. 3 RB for this squad.

  • Matt Ryan

Going out on a Limb: Are you willing to reveal your source? We'd love to hear what prompted the selection of Ryan at No. 50, about 12 slots earlier than his ADP of 62. Projected to score 315 fantasy points this season with the Falcons, he will need to outperform expectations to beat last year when he threw for 4,924 yards and 35 TDs with 7 interceptions, earning 361 fantasy points. But do you really need another QB? You can only start one at a time after all. Ryan will slot in as the No. 2 QB for U/asaabstory, based on projected points.

Draft Notes

  • Week 9 could bring a tough task for U/asaabstory, as they have six players on a bye, led by Matt Ryan, Alvin Kamara, and Julio Jones. Your Week 9 opponent, Gogh Gogh Copernikus, will have four players on a bye.

  • With a strength of schedule ranked as the easiest according to projected records, U/asaabstory have an easy road in Nano Europe League (Beta) this season. But that doesn't mean you should rest on your laurels. For owners who don't remain attentive, even light schedules can become problematic without warning.

  • With the 2nd-oldest group in the league at an average of 6.1 years of NFL experience, U/asaabstory seem to prioritize age before beauty. Case in point: they didn't select any of the six rookies drafted.

  • Even with open slots at QB and TE in the 5th round, U/asaabstory selected WR Amari Cooper with the 34th pick, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position at the expense of a more important position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
