Having the top pick in the draft doesn't always result in a championship-caliber squad. In this case, however, it very well could. Brian's Team did what top-flight fantasy footballers do when they land the No. 1 overall pick. They constructed a juggernaut. The team is particularly strong at running back, as Saquon Barkley and Damien Williams are slated to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Brian's Team are predicted to finish in first place in The Bench Warmers League with an undefeated mark of 13-0 (1,953 points).
- Jaylen Samuels
Biggest Steal: Brian's Team scored a great late-round value with the pick of Samuels at No. 168, about three rounds later than his ADP of 126. Following a rookie season in which he ran for 256 yards and had 26 receptions for 199 yards and 3 TDs in 9 games, totaling 77 fantasy points, Samuels is projected to score 144 fantasy points with the Steelers. That makes him a valuable No. 4 RB for this squad.
- Vance McDonald
Going out on a Limb: Are you in a sharing mood? We'd love to hear what prompted you to draft McDonald at No. 72, about 16 spots earlier than his ADP of 88. Granted, you might be onto something? Projected to score 153 fantasy points this season with the Steelers, he appears set to top last year when he snagged 50 balls for 610 yards and 4 TDs to earn 108 fantasy points. Based on projected points, McDonald will slot in as the No. 1 TE for Brian's Team to begin the season.
Draft Notes
-
Brian's Team led the charge at the kicker position, taking Greg Zuerlein at No. 97 overall as the first K off the draft board. Three more kickers went in the ensuing round.
-
Brian's Team face a tough challenge in Week 11 when they have three players on a bye (Saquon Barkley, Corey Davis, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling). Fear not: your Week 11 opponent -- Big Baller Bastards -- will also be confronting their worst bye week with three players (Sterling Shepard, Tyler Lockett, and Geronimo Allison) on the sideline.
-
Brian's Team face one of the lightest schedules in The Bench Warmers League this season based on projections with a strength of schedule that rates as the 2nd easiest.
-
With the selection of RB Kenyan Drake at No. 73, Brian's Team utilized the WR/RB/TE flex position for the first time after completing all of the individual offensive positions in the draft.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
