Although they drew the No. 9 overall selection, The Brayden Bunch didn't let it get them down, building a roster capable of topping any team in The Prominent Members League. After picking up multiple Steelers in the early rounds (James Conner and JuJu Smith-Schuster), The Brayden Bunch are projected to finish with a record of 12-1 (1,908 points), placing them 1st.

  • Cam Newton

Best Pick: What an outstanding late-round bargain for The Brayden Bunch, who picked up Newton in the 10th round, about four rounds later than his ADP of 77. Following a season in which he threw for 3,395 yards and 24 TDs with 13 INTs and ran for 488 yards and 4 TDs in 14 games, totaling 296 fantasy points, Newton is projected to score 333 fantasy points with the Panthers. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • James White

Going out on a Limb: You must have had an inside source when deciding to select White in the 5th round, about 25 spots earlier than his ADP of 82. Projected to score 187 fantasy points this season with the Patriots, he'll need to outperform expectations to improve on last year when he ran for 425 yards and 5 TDs and had 87 receptions for 751 yards and 7 TDs to post 233 fantasy points. White will slot in as the No. 4 RB for The Brayden Bunch, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • With only three defenses off the board, The Brayden Bunch predicted a run developing and got in early, taking Jacksonville with the 153rd overall pick. In the round that followed, six more defensive units came off the board.

  • The Brayden Bunch are in for a rude awakening in Week 12 when they have six players on a bye, led by Melvin Gordon III, Adam Thielen, and Mike Williams. Your Week 12 opponent, Jonathan's Team, won't be nearly as hamstrung with only one player (Los Angeles) on a bye week.

  • For the second half of the season, The Brayden Bunch have a difficult path in The Prominent Members League based on projections with a late-season strength of schedule that ranks as the most difficult. In spite of that, for the season as a whole, The Brayden Bunch face a fairly balanced path that ranks as the 7th hardest.

  • In spite of offensive openings at QB and TE in the 5th round, The Brayden Bunch selected RB James White with the 57th pick, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position rather than a position of greater importance.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
