After receiving a positive draft slot (No. 4 overall), Aussig Spartans had an impressive showing. The team is especially strong at running back, as Ezekiel Elliott and Aaron Jones are slated to combine for the 3rd-highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Aussig Spartans are projected to finish 1st in CZNFL A League 19 with a mark of 11-2 (1,664 points).

  • James White

Best Pick: What a great mid-round value for Aussig Spartans, who got White at No. 100, about two rounds later than his ADP of 82. Following a season in which he rushed for 425 yards and 5 TDs and hauled in 87 passes for 751 yards and 7 TDs, totaling 190 fantasy points, White is projected to score 148 fantasy points with the Patriots. That makes him a valuable No. 3 RB for this squad.

  • Corey Davis

Going out on a Limb: We're going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you took the dog out right before selecting Davis with the 4th pick in the 7th round, about 22 slots earlier than his ADP of 98. Maybe you're onto something, though. Projected to score 148 fantasy points this season with the Titans, he appears poised to beat last year when he hauled in 65 passes for 891 yards and 4 TDs to earn 119 fantasy points. Davis will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Aussig Spartans, according to projections.

Draft Notes

  • Week 9 could bring on a case of the Bye Week Blues for Aussig Spartans, as they have three players on a bye (Tyler Boyd, Los Angeles, and Tre'Quan Smith). Your Week 9 opponent, Pardubice Colts, won't be nearly as limited with only one player (Cooper Kupp) on a bye.

  • According to projected records, Aussig Spartans won't face too many speed bumps in CZNFL A League 19 this season with a strength of schedule that ranks as the easiest. But that doesn't mean you can relax. Soft schedules can become problematic without warning for owners who don't remain diligent.

  • With an average of 4.1 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league, Aussig Spartans have put together a fairly balanced lineup. As an example of that moderation, they didn't select any of the 17 rookies drafted.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
