Starting with a juicy draft position (No. 2 overall), Michael Scott had an exceptional performance. After picking up multiple Packers in the early rounds (Davante Adams and Aaron Jones), Michael Scott are projected to finish 2nd in Private #561033 with a record of 10-4 (2,437 points).

  • Kerryon Johnson

Biggest Steal: What a mid-round value for Michael Scott, who got Johnson in the 8th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 32. Following a rookie season in which he ran for 641 yards and 3 TDs and recorded 32 receptions for 213 yards and 1 TD in 10 games, totaling 136 fantasy points, Johnson is projected to score 239 fantasy points with the Lions. That makes him a valuable No. 3 RB for this squad.

  • Austin Hooper

Going out on a Limb: Everyone, it seems, fancies themselves a fantasy expert these days, so there's no telling who led you to draft Hooper with the 5th pick of the 14th round, about four rounds earlier than his ADP of 107. Projected to score 144 fantasy points this season with the Falcons, he'll need to outperform expectations to beat last year when he racked up 71 catches for 660 yards and 4 TDs to post 159 fantasy points. But do you really need yet another TE? You can only start one at a time after all. Hooper will slot in as the No. 2 TE for Michael Scott, according to projections.

Draft Notes

  • Week 9 will bring a tough task for Michael Scott, as they have five players on a bye (Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, Julio Jones, Austin Hooper, and Los Angeles). Your Week 9 opponent, Red Storm, won't be quite as short-handed with only one player (Jared Cook) getting the week off.

  • Michael Scott have one of the most daunting schedules in Private #561033 this season based on projected records with a strength of schedule that ranks as the 2nd-most difficult. That doesn't mean you're destined to lose, though. No matter how tough your opponents are, the better team will prevail. Get involved in trade talks and on the waiver wire, and you'll be fine.

  • With the 2nd-oldest group in the league at an average of 5.9 years of NFL experience, Michael Scott seem to be counting on veteran leadership. In spite of that, they still selected one rookie (Josh Jacobs). In total, there were two rookies selected over the course of the Private #561033 draft.

  • Michael Scott drafted a strong roster across the board. The top players from each position, collectively, are projected to score the highest point total in Private #561033. This is no Stars-and-Scrubs story either, as the rest of the roster is predicted to combine for a point total that would rank 2nd.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
