Gifted a juicy draft position (No. 3 overall), The Dogs of War had an outstanding performance. The team is notably tough at the running back position, as Saquon Barkley and Leonard Fournette are slated to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. The Dogs of War are predicted to finish 1st in OklahomIraqis League NFC with a record of 12-1 (2,531 points).

  • Tom Brady

Biggest Steal: What a nice mid-round value for The Dogs of War, who got Brady with the 12th pick of the 10th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 104. Coming off a season in which he threw for 4,355 yards and 29 TDs with 11 INTs, totaling 383 fantasy points, Brady is projected to score 382 fantasy points with the Patriots. That makes him a valuable No. 2 QB for this squad.

  • LeSean McCoy

Going out on a Limb: We're going to give you some credit and assume you fell asleep right before the selection of McCoy at No. 82, about two rounds earlier than his ADP of 118. Then again, you may be onto something? Projected to score 165 fantasy points this season with the Bills, he seems poised to surpass last year when he ran for 514 yards and 3 TDs and had 34 catches for 238 yards in 14 games to post 127 fantasy points. McCoy will slot in as the No. 3 RB for The Dogs of War, according to projected points.

Draft Notes

  • Week 12 could be a rude awakening for The Dogs of War, as they have five players on a bye (Stefon Diggs, Mike Williams, Sammy Watkins, Carlos Hyde, and Minnesota). Your Week 12 opponent, DARC NARC, won't be quite as short-handed with only one player (Damien Williams) on the sideline.

  • Based on projections, The Dogs of War have an easy road in OklahomIraqis League NFC this season with a strength of schedule that rates as the easiest. Don't be mistaken, though, the work has just begun. Even the lightest schedules can present plenty of issues for owners who fail to stay active.

  • With the oldest group in the league at an average of 6.1 years of NFL experience, The Dogs of War must have prioritized experience over youth. Even so, they still selected one rookie (Dexter Williams). In total, there were 28 rookies selected over the course of the OklahomIraqis League NFC draft.

  • Even with open slots at QB and TE in the 6th round, The Dogs of War drafted RB LeSean McCoy with the 82nd pick, filling the WR/RB flex position rather than a more important position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
