After drawing the No. 1 overall pick, The ball breakers had an excellent performance. With Saquon Barkley and Marlon Mack slated to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league, The ball breakers are projected to finish 2nd in Football for Smart People with a record of 9-4 (1,866 points).

  • Jordan Howard

Best Pick: What a nice late-round bargain for The ball breakers, who selected Howard in the 13th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 100. After a season in which he rushed for 935 yards and 9 TDs and recorded 20 receptions for 145 yards, totaling 160 fantasy points, Howard is projected to score 123 fantasy points with the Eagles. That makes him a valuable No. 3 RB for this squad.

  • Delanie Walker

Going out on a Limb: You know when they ask at airport security if your bags have been with you at all times? We have the same question about your draft. Or at least we're questioning the decision to choose Walker in the 5th round, about six rounds earlier than his ADP of 115. You may be onto something, though. Projected to score 116 fantasy points this season with the Titans, he looks set to outperform last year when he had 4 catches for 52 yards in 1 game, totaling 5 fantasy points. According to projected points, Walker will slot in as the No. 1 TE for The ball breakers to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • With only one kicker off the board, The ball breakers saw a run developing and got in early, taking Harrison Butker at No. 81 overall. In the next 10 non-keeper picks, three more kickers went off the board.

  • The ball breakers are in for a rude awakening in Week 11 when they have three players on a bye (Russell Wilson, Saquon Barkley, and Delanie Walker). Luckily, Schmo and Cows, your Week 11 opponent, will be confronting a similar conundrum with two players (Corey Davis and Geronimo Allison) getting the week off.

  • With a strength of schedule rated as the easiest according to projected records, The ball breakers won't face too many obstacles in Football for Smart People this season. That doesn't mean you can rest on your laurels, though. Even the softest schedules can present plenty of landmines for those who fail to stay diligent.

  • With the 3rd-youngest group in the league at an average of 4.7 years of NFL experience, The ball breakers have assembled a fairly young lineup. In spite of that, they didn't pick any of the six rookies drafted.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
