After receiving a favorable draft slot (No. 5 overall), FDC Chiefs had a wonderful performance. The team is notably talented at running back, as Ezekiel Elliott and Tarik Cohen are expected to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. FDC Chiefs are predicted to finish 1st in OklahomIraqis League PFC with a mark of 11-2 (2,339 points).

  • Ben Roethlisberger

Biggest Steal: What a great mid-round value for FDC Chiefs, who got Roethlisberger in the 9th round, about two rounds later than his ADP of 97. After a season in which he threw for 4,251 yards and 28 TDs with 14 interceptions, totaling 275 fantasy points, Roethlisberger is projected to score 382 fantasy points with the Steelers. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Tyler Lockett

Reach Pick: Did you lose a bet? We're wondering why else you would select Lockett in the 5th round, about four rounds earlier than his ADP of 127. Then again, you may be onto something? Projected to score 239 fantasy points this season with the Seahawks, he appears set to improve on last year when he recorded 45 catches for 555 yards and 2 TDs, totaling 78 fantasy points. Lockett will slot in as the No. 2 WR for FDC Chiefs, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • FDC Chiefs face a difficult challenge in Week 7 when they have three players on a bye (Ben Roethlisberger, Tyler Lockett, and Amari Cooper). The Mechanics, your Week 7 opponent, won't be nearly as encumbered with only one player (Vance McDonald) getting the week off.

  • FDC Chiefs have one of the most challenging schedules in the early-going in OklahomIraqis League PFC based on projections with a strength of schedule for the first four weeks rated as the 3rd-most difficult. In spite of that, for the full season, FDC Chiefs face a pretty fair schedule ranked as the 9th hardest.

  • FDC Chiefs have compiled a fairly old squad with an average of 6.6 years of NFL experience, ranking as the 2nd-oldest group in the league. Case in point: they didn't pick any of the 23 rookies drafted.

  • In spite of open slots at QB, RB, and TE in the 5th round, FDC Chiefs selected WR Tyler Lockett with the 61st pick, the 2nd flex pick in the league.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
