Hard Targets are not a team of destiny, but they could possibly sneak into the playoffs if things break the right way. After picking No. 9 overall, the team is projected to land in 8th place in OklahomIraqis League NFC. On a positive note, the team is especially talented at the running back position, as Saquon Barkley and Devonta Freeman are expected to combine for the 3rd-highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Hard Targets are in store for a mark of 6-7 (2,167 points) with the current roster.

  • Ty Montgomery

Biggest Steal: What a outstanding late-round bargain for Hard Targets, who selected Montgomery in the 12th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 122. After a season in which he ran for 273 yards and 3 TDs and grabbed 23 passes for 173 yards and 1 TD in 8 games, totaling 92 fantasy points, Montgomery is projected to score 88 fantasy points with the Packers. That makes him a valuable No. 4 RB for this squad.

  • Cooper Kupp

Going out on a Limb: Are you willing to reveal your source? We'd love to know what prompted you to choose Kupp with the 6th pick in the 6th round, about 26 picks earlier than his ADP of 102. To be fair, you may be onto something. Projected to score 181 fantasy points this season with the Rams, he seems set to surpass his rookie year when he racked up 62 catches for 869 yards and 5 TDs, totaling 115 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Kupp will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Hard Targets to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • If you're not first, you're last. You got the jump on your opponents at quarterback, drafting Aaron Rodgers (No. 37 overall) as the first QB off the board.

  • Week 7 could be a rude awakening for Hard Targets, as they have five players on a bye (Aaron Rodgers, Rashaad Penny, Geronimo Allison, Jaron Brown, and Ty Montgomery). Perhaps leveling the playing field, AMMODOG, your Week 7 opponent, will be facing a similar quandary with four players getting the week off.

  • Going off projected records, Hard Targets have one of the toughest schedules in OklahomIraqis League NFC this season with a strength of schedule that rates as the 4th-most difficult. But that doesn't mean you have to lose. Strength of schedule doesn't say anything about how active you are. There are infinite means to keep improving throughout the season for owners who stay involved.

  • Hard Targets seem to be counting on youthful exuberance, putting together a squad with an average of 4.5 years of NFL experience, ranking as the 2nd-youngest group in the league. Demonstrating their commitment to youth, they selected four rookies (Saquon Barkley, Rashaad Penny, D.J. Moore, and Tre'Quan Smith), the highest total of first-year players in the league. In total, there were 21 rookies selected over the course of the OklahomIraqis League NFC draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
