After receiving a favorable draft slot (No. 6 overall), Whackers had a wonderful showing. Whackers are projected to finish 1st in OklahomIraqis League NFC with a mark of 11-2 (2,386 points).

  • Jimmy Graham

Best Pick: Whackers netted a great early-round value with the pick of Graham at No. 62, about 14 picks later than his ADP of 48. After a season in which he recorded 57 receptions for 520 yards and 10 TDs, totaling 115 fantasy points, Graham is projected to score 207 fantasy points with the Packers. That makes him a valuable No. 1 TE for this squad.

  • Julian Edelman

Going out on a Limb: Are you willing to reveal your source? We'd love to know what prompted you to draft Edelman in the 6th round, about 30 slots earlier than his ADP of 109. Granted, maybe you're onto something? Edelman is projected to score 165 fantasy points this season with the Patriots. According to projected points, Edelman will slot in as the No. 5 WR for Whackers to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • Whackers will live and die with the 49ers this season, as the selections of Jimmy Garoppolo, Matt Breida, and Robbie Gould give them three San Francisco players, the most of any team in OklahomIraqis League NFC. League-wide, the Patriots were the most popular team, as 11 of them were selected in the draft.

  • Week 11 will present a difficult task for Whackers, as they have six players on a bye, led by Jimmy Garoppolo, Julian Edelman, and Robbie Gould. The Dogs of War, your Week 11 opponent, won't be nearly as short-handed with only two players (David Njoku and George Kittle) on a bye week.

  • Whackers have one of the least challenging schedules late in the season in OklahomIraqis League NFC based on projections with a strength of schedule for the last four weeks ranked as the 3rd easiest. Even so, for the season as a whole, Whackers face a pretty fair path rated as the 9th hardest.

  • In spite of open slots at QB and RB in the 6th round, Whackers selected WR Julian Edelman with the 79th pick, the 4th-earliest flex pick off the board.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
