Despite drawing the final pick of the opening round, Drew's Team was able to put together a brilliant draft. Drew's Team is predicted to finish atop Saginaw First 1 with a record of 9-4 (2,456 points).

  • C.J. Anderson

Best Pick: Drew's Team notched a tremendous late-round bargain when it chose Anderson with the 1st pick in the 14th round, about four rounds later than his ADP of 115. Coming off a season in which he ran for 1,007 yards and 3 TDs and snagged 28 balls for 224 yards and 1 TD, totaling 175 fantasy points, Anderson is projected to score 110 fantasy points with the Panthers. That makes him a valuable No. 3 RB for this squad.

  • Tyler Lockett

Reach Pick: Did you lose a bet? We're wondering why else you would draft Lockett at No. 36, about eight rounds earlier than his ADP of 127. You might be onto something, though. Projected to score 262 fantasy points this season with the Seahawks, he looks set to surpass last year when he had 45 catches for 555 yards and 2 TDs, earning 175 fantasy points. Based on projections, Lockett will slot in as the No. 1 WR for Drew's Team to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • Patience is a virtue. With the selection of RB Chris Thompson (No. 60 overall), you became the last owner in the league to draft a running back.

  • Week 7 will bring on a case of the Bye Week Blues for Drew's Team, as they have four players on a bye (Tyler Lockett, Davante Adams, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Vance McDonald). Noah's team, your Week 7 opponent, won't be nearly as encumbered with only two players (Aaron Rodgers and Chris Carson) on the sideline.

  • Drew's Team has one of the lightest schedules in Saginaw First 1 this season based on projected records with a strength of schedule that rates as the 3rd easiest.

  • Despite remaining openings at RB and TE in the 4th round, Drew's Team chose WR JuJu Smith-Schuster with the 37th pick, filling the WR/RB/TE flex position rather than a higher leverage position. The team was the first squad to fill a flex position.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
