After drawing the No. 1 pick, Crab Legs had an exceptional performance. The team is especially strong at running back, as Todd Gurley II and Dalvin Cook are slated to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Crab Legs are predicted to finish 2nd in Bucs Rule with a record of 9-4 (2,065 points).

  • Nick Chubb

Biggest Steal: What a tremendous late-round bargain for Crab Legs, who picked up Chubb at No. 141, about three rounds later than his ADP of 121. Chubb is projected to score 186 fantasy points with the Browns, which would make him a valuable No. 4 RB for this squad.

  • Patrick Mahomes II

Stretch Pick: You must have gotten distracted, right? It had to be an autopick. There isn't any other explanation for the choice of Mahomes II in the 6th round, about five rounds earlier than his ADP of 112. Then again, perhaps you're onto something. Projected to score 424 fantasy points this season with the Chiefs, he looks poised to beat his rookie year when he threw for 284 yards with 1 interception in 1 game to earn 11 fantasy points. But do you really need an extra QB? After all, you can only start one a week. Mahomes II will slot in as the No. 2 QB for Crab Legs, according to projections.

Draft Notes

  • The early bird gets the worm. You got out ahead of your opponents at tight end, drafting Rob Gronkowski (No. 20 overall) as the first TE off the board. You exhibited more patience at wide receiver, becoming the last owner in the league to draft a WR with the selection of Doug Baldwin (No. 40 overall).

  • Crab Legs are in for a rude awakening in Week 12 when they have three players on a bye (Patrick Mahomes II, Todd Gurley II, and Robert Woods). Luckily, your Week 12 opponent, Will's Team, will be tackling a similar conundrum with two players (Travis Kelce and Sammy Watkins) on the sideline.

  • Crab Legs have one of the toughest schedules in Bucs Rule this season based on projected records with a strength of schedule that ranks as the 2nd-most difficult. But that doesn't mean you have to lose. You can't control strength of schedule, but you can control your team. There are a number of ways to improve your team during the season for those who remain involved.

  • With an average of 5.6 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league, Crab Legs have compiled a fairly balanced squad. They selected two rookies (Daniel Carlson and Nick Chubb), the highest total in the league. In total, there were eight rookies selected over the course of the Bucs Rule draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
