Blessed with a juicy draft position (No. 3 overall), High Fives had an outstanding performance. The team is particularly strong at the wide receiver position, as Doug Baldwin, Tyreek Hill, and Keenan Allen are expected to combine for the highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league. High Fives are projected to finish 2nd in CZNFL A League 18 with a record of 9-4 (1,564 points).

  • DeVante Parker

Biggest Steal: High Fives netted a great late-round bargain with the pick of Parker at No. 166, about four rounds later than his ADP of 121. Coming off a season in which he caught 57 passes for 670 yards and 1 TD in 13 games, totaling 130 fantasy points, Parker is projected to score 136 fantasy points with the Dolphins. That makes him a valuable No. 4 WR for this squad.

  • Delanie Walker

Going out on a Limb: Either you know something that everybody else doesn't or you got a bit carried away with your choice of Walker in the 5th round, about 20 slots earlier than his ADP of 71. Projected to score 110 fantasy points this season with the Titans, he will need to outperform expectations to surpass last year when he recorded 74 receptions for 807 yards and 3 TDs to earn 138 fantasy points. Walker will slot in as the No. 1 TE for High Fives, according to projections.

Draft Notes

  • High Fives are in for a rude awakening in Week 8 when they have four players on a bye (Philip Rivers, Keenan Allen, Rishard Matthews, and Delanie Walker). Your Week 8 opponent, Honolulu Tigers, won't be quite as short-handed with only one player (Mike Williams) on a bye week.

  • High Fives have one of the most daunting schedules in the early-going in CZNFL A League 18 according to projections with a strength of schedule for the first three weeks rated as the 2nd-most difficult. Even so, for the full season, High Fives have drawn a fairly balanced schedule that rates as the 8th hardest.

  • With the 2nd-oldest group in the league at an average of 7.1 years of NFL experience, High Fives must prioritize age before beauty. Case in point: they didn't select any of the 15 rookies drafted.

  • High Fives drafted a potent roster from top to bottom. As a group, the top players from each position are projected to tally the highest point total in the league. Stars-and-Scrubs? Nope, more like Stars-and-Stars, as the rest of the roster is expected to reach a point total that would rank 2nd.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
