Picking fourth in the draft, LIONPWR delivered a roster that even a spurned ex would have to appreciate. They're projected to finish first in Motor City Football League at 9-4-0 (3,249 points). They aimed for having a balanced roster throughout, taking QB Matt Ryan (37th overall), RBs Ezekiel Elliott (17th) and Leonard Fournette (24th), and WRs Antonio Brown (4th) and Golden Tate (44th). They've ultimately got the most prolific TE pair in the league, as they added Jordan Reed and Julius Thomas.

LIONPWR has one weak area, QB, that they may want to improve.

LIONPWR should drop off the grid during Week 10. They have four players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Taking a look at the season from start to finish, they have one of the least-difficult slates. LIONPWR has the opportunity to close with a hot streak, as the last four games of their season are projected to be less difficult than the league average.

Draft Notes

  • Highlight Reel

With five better-than-average positions on LIONPWR, TE and RB are projected as especially strong units.

  • Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

At three different positions, LIONPWR picked up projected top-two players (Antonio Brown, Seattle, and Kansas City).

  • Fortune Favors the Old

Leading the Motor City Football League with an average of 7.4 years of NFL experience per player, LIONPWR is the team most likely to have a player qualify for a senior citizen discount.

  • Team of Winners

LIONPWR is rocking a team of fantasy MVPs. Last season, three of their players were among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams (Antonio Brown, Ezekiel Elliott, and Jordan Reed).

  • The Sleepy Trio

LIONPWR selected three intriguing late-round sleepers (Deshaun Watson, Julius Thomas, and Kenny Golladay).

  • Dual-Threat Dynamo

Deshaun Watson can deliver fantasy glory to LIONPWR with his arm and his legs. Watson has 372 projected rushing yards, and ranks fifth among QBs in that category.

Player Analysis

    • Antonio Brown, WR
    • Round 1, Pick 4
    LIONPWR Found Their WR1

Among all wide receivers, only Mike Evans and Jordy Nelson appeared on more championship rosters than Brown last season.

    • E. Elliott, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 17
    Maybe Elliott Will Surprise

Despite being an above-average player at his position, Ezekiel Elliott was ultimately the weakest value pick of the round.

    • L. Fournette, RB
    • Round 3, Pick 24
    Turn Up The Volume

With 281 touches, Leonard Fournette is projected to rank eighth in the NFL in that category. LIONPWR demands more!

    • Matt Ryan, QB
    • Round 4, Pick 37
    Matty Ice, Oh So Nice

Second only to Brees in total passing yardage, the league MVP accounted for 9.3 yards per attempt in 2016 (a number that was more than a yard better than any other QB).

    • Golden Tate, WR
    • Round 5, Pick 44
    Clickbait Advertising

Defenses Hate Him, Quarterbacks Love Him! Golden Tate is expected to catch almost everything this year, as his 93 projected receptions rank eighth in the league.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
