Cream and Crimson landed the top spot and then made an example of the rest of the league. Everyone else might as well throw in the towel because Cream and Crimson is the clear front-runner, projected to finish first in Stampede Blue League 11 League with a record of 10-3-0 (2,190 points). They went after the diva position early, using three of their first five selections on WRs Antonio Brown (first round), Brandin Cooks (second round), and Jarvis Landry (fourth round). This group will have to produce in order for Cream and Crimson to have a good season, as they are the highest-scoring group of WRs in the league.

Cream and Crimson should use Week 9 to consider life's great mysteries, like why there's only one word for thesaurus. That's still time better spent than checking fantasy football that week. They have four players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have the softest slate. In addition to having the easiest overall schedule, Cream and Crimson also has the league's second-easiest first four games and softest last four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • On Autopilot

Choosing which WRs to start should be pretty obvious most weeks for Cream and Crimson, as projections show a healthy point difference between their third-ranked (Brandin Cooks) and fourth-ranked (Josh Gordon) wideouts.

  • Team of Champions

Cream and Crimson is rocking a team of fantasy MVPs. Last season, four of their players were among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy rosters, including Antonio Brown, Devonta Freeman, and Tom Brady.

  • Defense Wins Championships?

Cream and Crimson chose to go with two DEFs instead of loading up at other spots.

  • You Snooze, You Lose

While the rest of the league slept on Will Fuller, Cream and Crimson pounced on him at pick No. 169.

  • Insider Trading?

Darren Sproles is owned in only 7% of all Yahoo! leagues. Let's hope that a.) Cream and Crimson has some solid insider sources, or b.) he's a close friend of the family.

Player Analysis

    • Antonio Brown, WR
    • Round 1, Pick 1
    Hands Team

With a grip that would make Spider-Man jealous, Antonio Brown has serious value in all PPR leagues. He's projected to catch an NFL-leading 133 balls this year.

    • D. Freeman, RB
    • Round 3, Pick 25
    Better Lucky Than Good?

The rest of Stampede Blue League 11 League overlooked a gem, and Cream and Crimson made the smartest value pick of the round by taking Devonta Freeman.

    • Jarvis Landry, WR
    • Round 4, Pick 48
    Jumping on Jarvis:

Cream and Crimson may see some WR1 potential in Landry, who was one of three players (along with Julio Jones and Antonio Brown) to see double-digit targets in each of the final four weeks of 2015.

    • Tom Brady, QB
    • Round 6, Pick 72
    Let Me Check it Again

Why can't I find Tom Brady on my draft cheat sheet? Oh wait, here he is under "mid-to-late-round flier."

    • Tyler Eifert, TE
    • Round 7, Pick 73
    Apparently ADP is Overrated

With their seventh-round pick, Cream and Crimson pulled the trigger. They took Tyler Eifert at pick number 73 despite an ADP of just 108.1 across all Yahoo! leagues.

Best Available

QB and TE are expected to be the weakest positions for Cream and Crimson and a potential area of need.

    • Jay Cutler
    • Rank 148, ADP 122
    • Alex Smith
    • Rank 150, ADP 116
    • Jordan Cameron
    • Rank 169, ADP 134
    • Ladarius Green
    • Rank 174, ADP 120

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
