Collusion might be the only way to stop Drunkenamish this year, as they are projected to finish with a record of 11-2-0; good enough for first in Stampede Blue League 8 League. They clearly wanted to put together a wide receiver corps early, using three of their first five selections on Julio Jones (first round), Dez Bryant (second round), and Eric Decker (fourth round). If these guys can do what they're expected to do, Drunkenamish will benefit. They are one of the most prolific groups of WRs in the league.
Drunkenamish should use Week 11 to finally read War and Peace. Anything that isn't following their fantasy football team. They have three players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the season as a whole, they have one of the least challenging schedules. Along with having the third-easiest overall schedule, Drunkenamish has the second-softest last four games of the season.
Draft Notes
-
Separating the Wheat from the Chaff
Drunkenamish drafted top-3 players at a trio of different positions (Justin Tucker, Julio Jones, and Kansas City).
-
Fantasy FĂștbol
This is the American version, folks. Drunkenamish elected to go with two kickers, rather than adding depth at other positions.
-
Defense Wins Championships?
Drunkenamish chose to go with two DEFs instead of loading up at other spots.
-
A Pair of Proven Winners
Drunkenamish has a couple of fantasy MVPs in their lineup. Last season, two of their players (Julio Jones and Gary Barnidge) finished among the top-20 players that were on the most first-place fantasy teams.
-
You Snooze, You Lose
While the rest of the league slept on Kevin White, Drunkenamish pounced on him at pick No. 190.
-
Gary the Great
Drafting for last year's results is risky, but Barnidge did rank second among TEs for targets (125), third for receptions (79), fourth for yardage (1,043), and fourth for TDs (nine).

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
