R C's Team took the third overall pick and wove it into fantasy gold with an expected finish of first in Stampede Blue League 7 League. Their 11-2-0 projected record is no joke and opponents will need to pull out all the stops if they hope to knock off R C's Team. They stocked up on pass catchers right out of the gate, using their top three selections to snag WRs Julio Jones (3rd overall), Brandin Cooks (22nd), and Alshon Jeffery (27th). A lot will be expected of this group, as they are the highest-scoring group of WRs in the league.

Whether by good fortune or well-planned strategy, R C's Team has secured a favorable bye week schedule for their superstars. Of their top five players in projected points, none share a common off week. Based on their opponents' projected points, they have one of the least difficult schedules. Although they have the fourth-easiest overall schedule, R C's Team actually has the toughest first four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • On Autopilot

Choosing which WRs to start should be pretty obvious most weeks for R C's Team, as projections show a healthy point difference between their third-ranked (Brandin Cooks) and fourth-ranked (Corey Coleman) wideouts.

  • QB Controversy?

R C's Team may have to rely on a Ouija board each week. Their top-drafted QB (Eli Manning) and second-drafted QB (Matthew Stafford) have fairly similar seasonal point projections.

  • Risk Averse

R C's Team minimized risk by choosing 10 consistent players among their 16 picks.

  • Fantasy FĂștbol

This is the American version, folks. R C's Team elected to go with two kickers, rather than adding depth at other positions.

  • Big D

R C's Team elected to go with two DEFs instead of loading up at other spots.

  • Biggest Steal

R C's Team may have found a gem in the ninth round, grabbing Stephen Gostkowski (99th overall pick vs. ADP of 76.6).

Player Analysis

    • Round 1, Pick 3

272 More Reasons to Appreciate Alshon Jeffery

    • DeMarco Murray, RB
    • Round 4, Pick 46
    How Rebellious of You

R C's Team said 'no' to the tradition of fantasy drafting a RB early, waiting until the fourth round to pick up their first (DeMarco Murray).

    • J. Stewart, RB
    • Round 5, Pick 51
    A Bit of a Reach

R C's Team went out on a limb with their fifth-round pick. Across all Yahoo! leagues, Jonathan Stewart has an ADP of 63.6, but he was grabbed at pick No. 51. Patience is a virtue, R C's Team.

    • Eli Manning, QB
    • Round 6, Pick 70
    R C's Team's Stud Signal-Caller

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
