Although they got stuck with the 10th overall selection, Jeremy's Team was unfazed, building a roster capable of dominating any team in Stampede Blue League 4. They're projected to finish with a record of 12-1-0 (2,082 points), placing them first. They stocked up on pass-catching weapons early on, using three of their first five selections to pick up WRs DeAndre Hopkins (first round), Brandin Cooks (third round), and Eric Decker (fifth round). If these players can play up to expectations, Jeremy's Team can have some success. They are one of the highest-scoring groups of WRs in the league.

Jeremy's Team should use Week 9 to consider life's deeper mysteries, like why don't the pants worn by Dr. Bruce Banner rip when he transforms into the Hulk? It's better to think about that than pay attention to fantasy football. They have five players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have the lightest slate. Along with having the easiest overall schedule, Jeremy's Team also has the softest last four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • QB Controversy?

The coach of Jeremy's Team might need to flip a coin. Their top-drafted QB (Eli Manning) and second-drafted QB (Kirk Cousins) have very similar seasonal point projections.

  • Risk Averse

Jeremy's Team minimized risk by choosing eight consistent players among their 16 picks.

  • Single-Bar Facemasks

Jeremy's Team knows this is American football, right? They elected to go with two kickers, instead of stockpiling depth at other positions.

  • Big D

Jeremy's Team elected to go with two DEFs instead of loading up at other spots.

  • Bargain Shopper

With six steals in the first 10 rounds (including Michael Floyd, Stephen Gostkowski, and Seattle), Jeremy's Team made some shrewd moves.

  • A Low Floor, but a High Ceiling?

Jeremy's Team grabbed a sleeper in Michael Thomas with pick No. 154.

Player Analysis

    • D. Hopkins, WR
    • Round 1, Pick 10
    Diagnosis: more DeAndre!

Hopkins' breakout was just what the doctor ordered for fantasy owners last year. Only Devonta Freeman and Tom Brady appeared more often on championship rosters than Houston's star WR.

    • Lamar Miller, RB
    • Round 2, Pick 15
Lamar Miller Doesn't Read the Playbook

The playbook reads him. Jeremy's Team should be in decent shape if Miller gets his 311 projected touches this year.

    • Travis Kelce, TE
    • Round 6, Pick 63
Was the 63rd Pick the Right Time for Travis Kelce?

Jeremy's Team apparently believes so. The Chiefs' tight end is projected to have 184 points this year, almost the same as his total from last year.

    • Eli Manning, QB
    • Round 7, Pick 82
    Is Eli Manning Religious?

With 392 projected points, Jeremy's Team will be hoping Manning is the answer to their prayers.

Best Available

Jeremy's Team has a couple positions they may look to upgrade (TE and DEF), but TE is the area they'll want to focus their attention first.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
