Xheryk received the fifth pick in the draft and used it to build a juggernaut. The majority of the league will spend the season looking up at Xheryk in the standings, as they are expected to finish second in Rams Fans United League with a record of 9-4-0 (1,554 points). They aimed for having a roster with balance throughout, taking QB Russell Wilson (33rd overall), RBs Jamaal Charles (24th) and Carlos Hyde (52nd), and WRs Julio Jones (5th) and Golden Tate (61st). They also have one of the best groups of WRs in the league, as they added Jones, Tate, Larry Fitzgerald, and Terrance Williams.
Xheryk should pick up a new hobby, like bird watching, during Week 5. They have three players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Taking a look at the entire season from start to finish, they have the weakest schedule. Along with the easiest overall schedule, both the first four games and last four games of the season are about league-average difficulty for Xheryk.
Draft Notes
-
Brett Favre is Just a Phone Call Away
Xheryk grabbed a couple of QBs (Russell Wilson and Alex Smith) that'll both be on bye in Week 5, and will be looking for a signal-caller. You can call Brett, but texting him isn't exactly recommended.
-
Separating the Wheat from the Chaff
Xheryk drafted top-3 players at a trio of different positions (Denver, Julio Jones, and Stephen Gostkowski).
-
Tread Left on the Tires
With an average of 8.4 years of NFL experience, Xheryk is the team most likely to have a player become a grandpa.
-
Fantasy FĂștbol
This is the American version, folks. Xheryk elected to go with two kickers, rather than adding depth at other positions.
-
Bargain Shopper
With five steals in the first 10 rounds (including Stephen Gostkowski, Larry Fitzgerald, and Denver), Xheryk made some shrewd moves.
-
The Heist Is On
The other league managers passed over a diamond in the rough. According to ADP, Xheryk got a steal in snatching Stephen Gostkowski in the ninth round (117th overall pick vs. ADP of 76.9).

Better Lucky Than Good? The rest of Rams Fans United League overlooked a gem, and Xheryk made the smartest value pick of the round by taking Golden Tate.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
