This could be a dream season for Hash Crackers, who landed the top overall pick and then drafted a team capable of winning the whole damn thing. With a roster that has very few weaknesses, they are projected to finish in first place in Hacking Fantasy League with a mark of 9-3-0 (1,563 points). If they have a bad season, it won't be due to a lack of wide receivers, as they used three of their first five selections to pick up WRs Antonio Brown (first round), Dez Bryant (second round), and Jeremy Maclin (fifth round). These guys could be the key to the season for Hash Crackers, as they are the highest-scoring group of WRs in the league.

Hash Crackers can chalk up Week 9 as a loss. They have six players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Taking a look at the entire season from start to finish, they have one of the easiest schedules. Along with the second-easiest overall schedule, both the first four games and last four games of the season are about league-average difficulty for Hash Crackers.

Draft Notes

  • On Autopilot

Choosing which WRs to start should be pretty obvious most weeks for Hash Crackers, as projections show a healthy point difference between their third-ranked (Jeremy Maclin) and fourth-ranked (Michael Thomas) wideouts.

  • Carrying the Load

Hash Crackers has four above-average positions with WR and TE projected to lead the way.

  • QB Controversy?

Hash Crackers may have to rely on a Ouija board each week. Their top-drafted QB (Russell Wilson) and second-drafted QB (Andy Dalton) have fairly similar seasonal point projections.

  • Up and Comers

Assembling a squad of rising stars is key to fantasy success and Hash Crackers may have done just that, with four players estimated to top their prior-season numbers by a substantial amount.

  • Great Idea, Poor Execution

Apparently Hash Crackers missed the point of drafting a back-up defense. In Week 9, both New England and Cincinnati will be on bye.

  • Big D

Hash Crackers elected to go with two DEFs instead of loading up at other spots.

Player Analysis

    • Antonio Brown, WR
    • Round 1, Pick 1
    Get a Grip

Check that dude for stickum! Antonio Brown figures to be a PPR monster this season, with an NFL-leading 133 projected catches.

    • Dez Bryant, WR
    • Round 2, Pick 24
178 Reasons for Hash Crackers to Appreciate Dez Bryant

Bryant ranks eighth in the Hacking Fantasy League among WRs with 178 projected fantasy points.

    • Russell Wilson, QB
    • Round 3, Pick 25
    Effective, Efficient, and Elite

Wilson joined Brady and Rodgers as the only QBs to throw for more than 25 touchdowns and have fewer than 10 interceptions last season.

    • J. Stewart, RB
    • Round 4, Pick 48
    If it Ain't Broke

Do fix it? Laughing in the face of decades of fantasy tradition, Hash Crackers didn't grab their first RB (Jonathan Stewart) until the fourth round.

    • Matt Jones, RB
    • Round 6, Pick 72
    Taking a Chance

With their sixth-round pick, Hash Crackers threw caution to the wind. They took Matt Jones at pick number 72 despite an ADP of 91.3 across all Yahoo! leagues.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent.
