The GM of Trut Miners took the first overall pick and handled it like a seasoned professional. After putting their sweet drafting skills on display for the rest of the league, they're left with a squad that's projected to finish second in CZNFL Dynasty League 15 League with a record of 10-3-0 (1,563 points).

Trut Miners used all 19 of their keeper positions, focusing on roster balance. They chose to hold on to a QB (Aaron Rodgers, 16.1 ADP), RB (LeSean McCoy, 20.7 ADP), WR (A.J. Green, 21.1 ADP), and TE (Jimmy Graham, 30.9 ADP) as their five highest-ranked keepers. From an ADP perspective, their top-ranked keeper (Aaron Rodgers), is less valuable than a first-round draft choice. Overall, the top five keepers on Trut Miners are projected to be marginally less productive (by 5.1%) than the draft picks they replaced.

Trut Miners should use Week 7 to consider life's deeper mysteries, like what was the greatest thing before sliced bread? No, seriously, think about it. It's better than thinking about fantasy football that week. They have five players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have one of the least challenging schedules. Along with having the third-easiest overall schedule, Trut Miners has the easiest first four games of the season.

Draft Notes

  • A Wasted Pick?

If Trut Miners can't trade one of their seven above-average WRs, then at least they'll be able to boast their superior depth at the position. Which, ya know, is good for something.

  • Because a Couple of Good Quarterbacks Wouldn't be Enough

Trut Miners drafted three stronger-than-average QBs, even though only one signal-caller can be started each week.

  • Good Luck With That One!

Trut Miners will have some intriguing decisions to make each week at WR, with a narrow projected points difference between their third- (Pierre Garcon), fourth- (DeVante Parker), and fifth-ranked (Roddy White) wideouts.

  • One Will Rise Up Like a Phoenix From the Ashes

Trut Miners is hoping that either LeSean McCoy or Fred Jackson will emerge as a serious threat for the Buffalo Bills.

  • Highlight Reel

With five better-than-average positions on Trut Miners, TE and WR are projected as especially strong units.

  • Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

At three different positions, Trut Miners picked up projected top-3 players (Aaron Rodgers, Jimmy Graham, and Houston).

Player Analysis

    • A.J. Green, WR
    • Round 1, Pick 1
171 Reasons for Trut Miners to Appreciate A.J. Green

Green ranks ninth in the CZNFL Dynasty League 15 League among WRs with 171 projected fantasy points.

    • Aaron Rodgers, QB
    • Round 2, Pick 13
    Insanely Efficient

Despite attempting 32.5 passes per game (just 22nd in the league), Rodgers threw for the seventh-most yards (4,381) and third-most TDs (38) last season. A whopping 33 QBs tossed more interceptions than Rodgers' five.

    • Jimmy Graham, TE
    • Round 3, Pick 25
    Will His Production Drop-Off?

Trut Miners sure hopes not. Though he might not put up Saints-esque numbers, Graham is almost certain to be one of Russell Wilson's favorite targets moving forward.

    • Roddy White, WR
    • Round 4, Pick 37
    Maybe White Will Surprise

Despite being an above-average player at his position, Roddy White was the weakest value pick of the round.

    • Kendall Wright, WR
    • Round 6, Pick 61
    A Bit of a Reach

Trut Miners went out on a limb with their sixth-round pick. Across all Yahoo! leagues, Kendall Wright has an ADP of 124.9, but he was grabbed at pick No. 61. Patience is a virtue, Trut Miners.

Best Available

If Trut Miners is interested in making a roster move, RB is one area they could improve.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
