  • Playoffs with one week to go: Six of our playoff spots are set. Land Sharks can claim the 7th spot with a win over The Wreckers. This will leave the 8th spot up for grabs between Winning, L'eggo and team3. All enter the weekend 5-7 so if there is a single winner among this group they will make the playoffs. If there are two or three winners, the tie-breaker will be total points and Winning has a big edge here. If there are NO winners among this group it will be a three-way tie at 5-8 UNLESS CraSi wins in which case CraSi will sneak in. HOWEVER if Land Sharks lose they will be 6-7 and any of the three 5-7 teams (Winning, L'eggo and team3) will tie Land Sharks in the standings. If one wins, they get in automatically but if more than one of these three wins, we are back to the tiebreaker. CraSi can still sneak in under this scenario if they win AND all of the 5-7 teams lose. Phew!! Any questions?

  • A note on trades: Trades are subject to review by all managers. Once a trade is accepted by the two teams, league managers have two days to review. If 1/3 of the managers vote against the trade, it doesn't go through. Also, I just changed the league settings to set a trade deadline for November 14. That has been our setting in previous years, but somehow it didn't get picked up in the Yahoo! settings this year. Any questions / comments please let me know.

  • Hello Managers!

    Welcome back to Chain Movers 2014 Season! This year all settings will be the same as last year, including scoring and weekend waivers. Feel free to browse the league settings and let me know if anything doesn't seem right.

    Once again we will use Auto Draft. I will set Draft Status to "Ready" at Noon on Saturday, August 30. If All goes well and Yahoo! behaves, we should know our rosters by the end of the long weekend -- with time to prepare for the Thursday night opener.
