For some the 11th overall pick is a challenge, for others its a blessing, but for Secret Society it looks to be a curse and an early indicator of the season ahead. Most teams in the league will pick up an easy win against Secret Society, resulting in their projected 3-10-0 (1,147) record and 11th-place finish in NEXT FFL League. With their first five picks, Secret Society aimed for balance, selecting QB Aaron Rodgers (11th overall), RBs Marshawn Lynch (14th) and Frank Gore (38th), and WRs Percy Harvin (35th) and Marques Colston (59th). They ended up with the bottom TE duo in the league, as they added Heath Miller and Coby Fleener.
Secret Society should use Week 4 to consider life's deeper mysteries, like why do we park in a driveway but drive on a parkway? It will be better to think about that than to check fantasy football. They have five players and the most projected fantasy points on bye that week. Looking at the entire season, they have a more-difficult-than-average slate. Secret Society has the opportunity to close with a hot streak, as the last four games of their season are projected to be less difficult than the league average.
Draft Notes
-
Officially Mediocre
While the bottom half of the Secret Society roster is one of the strongest in the league (projected to be No. 1), the top of the roster is among the weakest (ranked No. 11).
-
Better Late Than Never
Secret Society finished on a high note, accumulating the most projected points in the league over the second half of the draft.
-
Digging Deep
Greg Zuerlein is owned in only 4% of all Yahoo! leagues, but will surely reward Secret Society for their faith! Or not.

While Secret Society is projected to have four subpar positions, TE is clearly their weakest unit and should be upgraded first.

How We Grade
Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
