Before the season kicked off, I adjusted the schedule so that all division opponents will play twice a year. The last 3 weeks of the season will be all in-division games. So the playoff picture can shift dramatically. If your team is struggling, hang in there. An 8-6 record might win your division. I had been considering expanding the playoffs to include all 12 teams, but yahoo will not allow me to have more than 8 teams in. So, for the 4 teams left out, the consolation bracket winner will have the #2 pick overall in next year's draft. The other 3 teams will be slotted numbers 3, 4, and 5 respectively according to how they finish. Of course, the league winner gets the #1 pick. All teams that finish #2 through #8 will have their draft postion determined randomly.
I've considered turning this into a keeper format for next season. Thoughts?
