Player Notes

  • Chargers take a shot on former MLS player
Chargers signed Texas A&M K Josh Lambo.

Advice: Lambo (6'0/216) is a former MLS soccer player who spent two years as the Aggies' placekicker, converting 21-of-25 field goal (84 percent) attempts. He was replaced on kickoffs by Taylor Bertolet, which could be a concern for Lambo's chances of holding an NFL roster spot. Still, Lambo is an excellent athlete, has a big-league leg, and was an accurate field-goal kicker in college. He's got a shot. Rotoworld.com

  • Justin Tucker wants to be highest paid kicker
ESPN’s Jamison Hensley expects contract-year K Justin Tucker to command in excess of $3 million annually.

Advice: Tucker is currently playing under his $2.36 million RFA tender. One of the best kickers in the league, Tucker should top Sebastian Janikowski and Robbie Gould’s $8M guaranteed. Tucker will be a candidate for the 2016 franchise tag if the Ravens don’t extend him. Rotoworld.com
