  • DeAngelo Williams won't see bellcow usage
ESPN Steelers reporter Jeremy Fowler anticipates DeAngelo Williams handling only 10-12 carries per game in Weeks 1-3.

Advice: Fowler expects Dri Archer and perhaps Josh Harris to be involved during Le'Veon Bell's suspension. Seeing as the Steelers open the season versus the stout defensive fronts of New England, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Baltimore, we expect them to come out of the gates airing it out on offense. 32 years old, likely to be utilized relatively sparingly, and scheduled for brutal matchups, Williams figures to prove no more than an early-season fantasy tease. • 'Chance' Paul Richardson ready for camp
Seahawks WR Paul Richardson (ACL) has a "chance" at being ready for training camp.

Advice: However, coach Pete Carroll admitted the team would be "cautious" with the 2014 second-rounder. Richardson is just four months removed from going under the knife. We'd be shocked if he were ready for camp, and it's a strong possibility he'll begin the regular season on the reserve/PUP list. Carroll is always wildly optimistic with his injury predictions, almost to the point where he can't be taken in the least bit seriously. Rotoworld.com

  • Orlovsky again showers praise on Riddick
Lions No. 2 quarterback Dan Orlovsky praised Theo Riddick on Tuesday.

Advice: "Theo's too good to not put on the field," Orlovsky said. "Theo has stuff that you can't coach, that you can't teach, that you're born from God with. He just has an ability to get open better than everyone else." It's humorous because Orlovsky lavished similar praise on Riddick last summer. Riddick indeed flashed as a pass catcher in 2014, but his depth chart standing took a hit with the selection of Ameer Abdullah. MLive.com believes Riddick could see major time in the slot this year. • Chris Boyd waived to make room for Jenkins
    Cowboys waived WR Chris Boyd.

Advice: Boyd loses his roster spot to newly signed A.J. Jenkins. Boyd, who went undrafted out of Vandy last year, is a developmental prospect that has a good chance to land on his feet. He's 6-foot-4 and flashed some NFL-caliber ability as a true freshman and sophomore in the SEC, compiling 81 catches for 1,247 yards (15.4 YPR) and 13 scores. Rotoworld.com

  • Greg Jennings draws first-team reps Tuesday
Greg Jennings, Kenny Stills and Jarvis Landry were the Dolphins' first-team wideouts as OTAs opened Tuesday.

Advice: DeVante Parker is getting the rookie treatment as he'll mix in slowly. Ultimately, we'd expect Jennings to be the odd man out here in favor of the first-round pick. But he was given an $8 million contract that included $3 million guaranteed, so he's not going away quietly. It's a reminder that this pass-catching corps -- one that also includes TE Jordan Cameron -- is stacked. There will be heavy competition for snaps and targets. Rotoworld.com
