    • Waived by New Orleans
The Saints waived Mond on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Advice: Mond inked with New Orleans prior to the 2024 NFL Draft, but he ends up the odd man out in the team's quarterback room after the additions of rookies Jake Haener and Spencer Rattler. A 2021 third-round pick, Mond will look for an opportunity to compete elsewhere this offseason. Rotowire.com Today, 1:40 pm

    • Saints waive backup QB Kellen Mond
      Saints waived QB Kellen Mond.

Advice: The Saints also waived offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer. Mond was signed by the Saints in April. After drafting Spencer Rattler in the fifth round, New Orleans no longer had a need for Mond. He landed on the Colts’ practice squad last year and will likely be stuck on another practice squad for the 2024 season. Rotoworld Today, 1:39 pm

    • Let go by Denver
The Broncos are slated to release DiNucci, Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post reports.

Advice: DiNucci, who spent the 2023 season on the Broncos' practice squad, was elevated to the team's game-day roster three times, but didn't log any regular-season snaps. With the 2020 third-rounder no longer in the mix, Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson currently head Denver's QB corps. Rotowire.com Today, 10:18 am

    • Broncos release former spring QB star DiNucci
      Broncos released QB Ben DiNucci.

Advice: DiNucci, a former XFL star, has bounced on and off the Broncos roster over the past year and a half. He’s completed 23 of 43 NFL passes for 219 scoreless yards over three regular season games. The Broncos will roll with first-rounder Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham, and Jets castoff Zach Wilson in summer practices. He could end up on Denver’s practice squad this summer. Rotoworld Today, 9:05 am

    • Finally gets No. 3 receiver
Tagovailoa's top wide receiver options Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will be joined by Odell Beckham, who officially signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins on Wednesday,

Advice: Miami added offensive tackle Patrick Paul in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft to help Tagovailoa stay upright, a key move following the departure of Robert Hunt to Carolina, but the team's only notable skill-position splashes were sixth-round wideout Malik Washington and fourth-round running back Jaylen Wright, both of whom are speedsters set to begin in depth roles. Adding an experienced veteran in the form of Beckham should finally provide Miami's offense with a reliable third starting wideout, something the team has lacked since coach Mike McDaniel's arrival in 2022. As Marcel Louis-Jacques notes, beyond the top tandem of Hill and Waddle no receiver has logged more than 32 catches or 417 yards in the McDaniel era. The arrival of Beckham, not to mention new tight end Jonnu Smith, promises to finally provide Tagovailoa with more reliable playmakers beyond his top two options. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 am

    • Giants claim QB Nathan Rourke
Giants claimed QB Nathan Rourke off waivers from the Patriots.

Advice: Rourke is a former CFL star, passing for 3,349 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions with the BC Lions in 2022. He signed with the Jaguars for 2023, but was released towards the end of the season. The Patriots briefly scooped up Rourke, who was the odd man out after April’s draft saw Drake Maye and Joe Milton both join the Pats. Rourke now joins Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, and Tommy DeVito in the Giants’ quarterback room. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:43 pm

    • Claimed off waivers
The Giants have claimed Rourke off waivers from the Patriots, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Advice: After being waived by the Patriots on Monday, Rourke was quickly scooped up by the Giants. The 25-year-old will add depth to a New York QB corps headlined by Daniel Jones, who is bouncing back from a torn ACL, with Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito as backups. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:23 pm

    • Burrow on wrist: ‘I felt good the last two days’
Joe Burrow said, “I felt good the last two days,” when asked about his recovery from wrist surgery.

Advice: Burrow has now been spotted throwing on back-to-back days and continues to show improvement from last year’s season-ending wrist surgery. The fifth-year quarterback noted that “There is always going to be some pain when you’re coming back from injury,” but said on days he’s feeling good, he’s “going to go.” Burrow also added that he expects his recovery to continue up until training camp, so it’s safe to say he’s not quite out of the woods yet. Still, it’s yet another encouraging sign for Burrow and the Bengals, who are eyeing big things in 2024 if all key contributors can stay healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:01 pm

    • Continues to progress
Burrow (wrist), who has resumed throwing, indicated Tuesday that he's fully cleared to do everything that doesn't involve contact, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Burrow, who is bouncing back from a procedure to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist, started throwing again in April, noting that at this stage his focus is on mechanics like his footwork and arm path, as well as the "little intricacies of the throwing motion." While it remains to be seen when he'll be cleared for contact, Ben Baby of ESPN relays that the Bengals' franchise signal-caller feels as though he's "in a good spot" in his recovery process, and there's nothing to suggest that Burrow won't be ready to go well ahead of Week 1.
