    • Charvarius Ward (core) expects to be ready by camp
49ers S Charvarius Ward (core) said he expects to be ready by training camp.

Advice: Speaking on Monday, Ward said he is “almost at 100 percent” after undergoing surgery for a core muscle injury after the Super Bowl. Ward reportedly played through the injury for several weeks last season, appearing in all 17 regular-season games while totaling five interceptions and 72 tackles. He received his first Pro Bowl nod for his efforts and appears to be on track to return for training camp, barring any setbacks. Rotoworld Today, 12:44 pm

    • Saints ‘moving forward’ with Marshon Lattimore
Saints HC Dennis Allen said he had a “positive conversation” with Marshon Lattimore and that the two sides are “moving forward.”

Advice: This presumably puts an end to any potential trade of Lattimore, which is something that had been loosely speculated throughout the offseason. The veteran corner had his contract restructured in early January and is coming a second-straight season in which he dealt with nagging injuries. Lattimore has played in just 17 games over the last two seasons and will be 28 at the start of the season. He earned a 69.1 PFF coverage grade over 10 games last season and held opposing receivers under 50 yards in seven games. He remains a solid option in the secondary and now gets to be paired with rookie Kool-Aid McKinstry. Rotoworld Today, 7:42 am

    • Joins Jaguars
Jacksonville signed Flowers on Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Advice: Flowers suited up for all 17 games with the Falcons in 2023. Now he's signing with his fourth team in as many years. The Jaguars are thin at cornerback behind Tyson Campbell and Ronald Darby, so Flowers could push for a significant role in 2024. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:16 pm

    • Signs with Buffalo
The Bills signed Delaney on Thursday, Nick Wojton of BillsWire.com reports.

Advice: With Jordan Poyer having been poached by Miami and Micah Hyde eyeing retirement, Buffalo is understandably scrambling to restock at safety ahead of the season. Delaney recorded 25 tackles (17 solo) and two interceptions with Tampa Bay last year. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:10 pm

    • May play with Bills in 2024
Hyde has said he will either sign with Buffalo for 2024 or retire before the start of next season, Nick Sabato of the Niagara Gazette reports.

Advice: Hyde has been considering retiring from football since the Bills were eliminated by the Chiefs from the postseason back in January. Former running mate Jordan Poyer departed for Miami in March, so if Hyde does come back to Buffalo for one more year, he would likely be in line for a significant role. Rotowire.com Thursday, 2:30 pm

    • Gets opportunity in Jacksonville
The Jaguars signed Edmunds to a contract Thursday.

Advice: Edmunds began the 2023 campaign as a starter for Philadelphia before being dealt to the Titans in Week 7, where his opportunities grew more inconsistent. Across nine games with the Titans he handled over 50 percent of defensive snaps on just one occasion, but contributed heavily on special teams. Now, Edmunds likely profiles to head into the 2024 season as a depth player for Jacksonville. Rotowire.com Thursday, 2:15 pm

    • Jaguars sign Terrell Edmunds to deal
Jaguars signed S Terrell Edmunds, formerly of the Titans.

Advice: Edmunds was traded from the Eagles to the Titans last season and totaled 48 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one interception while splitting time with the two teams. The former first-round pick was let go by the Steelers after his rookie contract expired at the end of the 2022 season and is now set to play for his third team in two years. He’ll have a chance to provide added depth to the Jaguars’ secondary but is unlikely to be viewed as a starter at this point. In addition to Edmunds, they also signed cornerback Tre Flowers and linebacker Ty Summers. Rotoworld Thursday, 11:40 am

    • Hyde will either re-sign with Bills or retire
Micah Hyde said he will either re-sign with the Bills or retire.

Advice: Hyde is once again mulling retirement but affirms “it’s Bills or retire.” He is reportedly in no rush to make a decision and the team has players in place should Hyde choose to hang up his cleats. He remains a capable coverage defender and was targeted at the position’s eighth-lowest rate last year (6.0%), ranked among safeties with at least 500 coverage snaps. Rotoworld Thursday, 10:56 am

    • Retiring after 2024 season
McLeod (biceps) said Tuesday he plans to retire after the 2024 season, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: McLeod is presumably healthy after a biceps injury limited him to 10 appearances (five starts) in 2023. He signed a one-year deal back in March to return to Cleveland for a second season. The soon-to-be 34-year-old will likely serve as a depth option in the secondary while also handling a role on special teams. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:48 pm
