    • Doug Baldwin goes 3-43 in Week 17 win
Doug Baldwin caught three passes for 43 yards in the Seahawks' Week 17 win over the Rams.

Advice: He was targeted four times, finishing tied for second on the team with Luke Willson behind Paul Richardson (7). The Rams play physical pass defense, and their only real weak spot is RCB Janoris Jenkins. He's susceptible to big plays, and Richardson was the one who got behind him for a 32-yard gain. Baldwin managed a 38-yard grab. Baldwin and the Seahawks are off next week. Rotoworld.com

    • Quizz Rodgers manages 63 yards in Week 17
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed for 44 yards on nine carries in the Falcons' Week 17 loss to the Panthers, adding three catches for 19 yards.

Advice: Rodgers got the start in place of an injured Steven Jackson (quad) and split touches with Devonta Freeman. The diminutive Rodgers wraps up his fourth season with 58 carries for 217 yards (3.74 YPC) and one touchdown on the ground to go with a 31-241-1 receiving line. A free agent in March, Rodgers is unlikely to find much, if any, guaranteed money. He's an unproductive COP back but can at least catch the ball and pick up the blitz. Rotoworld.com

    • Andre Holmes ends season quietly
Andre Holmes caught two passes for 10 yards in Sunday's Week 17 loss at Denver.

Advice: Holmes was a worthy waiver add following Rod Streater's early-season foot injury. The size/speed freak showed his natural ability with a 5-74-1 line in Week 4 and a 4-121-2 outburst in Week 6. But Holmes proved very inconsistent and inefficient, two things that you can't have when opportunities are already capped by the Raiders offense. When the dust settled, Holmes' big chance ended with 47-693-4. He'll head to free agency as a big-play threat flier. Rotoworld.com

Lance Kendricks caught one pass for 17 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to Seattle.

Advice: The Rams’ red-zone specialist and blocking tight end, Kendricks is a valuable piece. He knows how to get open at the goal line and can make the tough catches. But Kendricks isn’t a high-volume pass-game target. The Rams will likely try to re-sign Kendricks as a free agent. He’s not going to break the bank. Rotoworld.com

Advice: It was a fitting end to what was easily the best regular season of Cobb's four-year career. He heads into the playoffs the owner of a 91/1,287/12 line. All three totals blow by his previous personal bests. Rotoworld.com

    • Kaepernick closes out disappointing season
Colin Kaepernick completed 15-of-26 throws for 204 yards and two touchdowns, adding seven scrambles for 63 yards in the 49ers' Week 17 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: And so ends a highly disappointing 2014 season for Kaepernick, where he finished with a 19:10 TD-to-INT ratio and 60.5 completion rate. Kaepernick definitely isn't getting better and may actually be getting worse, especially as a passer. He was more effective when the 49ers began running him more late in the year, but as a thrower Kaepernick consistently shows poor touch and is too quick to abandon his progressions when his first read appears covered. With Jim Harbaugh expected to go to Michigan, we suspect the 49ers will try to maintain some semblance of system continuity, perhaps retaining OC Greg Roman. Either way, it'll be an interesting offseason for Kaepernick. The Niners also need to replace free agent Michael Crabtree. Rotoworld.com

Bernard Pierce rushed six times for eight yards Week 17 against the Browns.

Advice: Pierce was stuffed twice at the goal line early in the game, and could get nothing going despite playing the worst run defense in the league. Expected to carry the load with Ray Rice suspended, Pierce was eventually beat out by journeyman back Justin Forsett and even lost work to the likes of Lorenzo Taliaferro and Fitzgerald Toussaint. Pierce's team-friendly contract will keep him will keep him on Baltimore's roster through the offseason, but the slow-footed back may need a solid summer to stick through final cuts. Rotoworld.com

Niles Paul caught 2-of-3 targets for 19 yards in the Redskins' Week 17 loss to the Cowboys.

Advice: A fourth-year pro, Paul coasted to new career highs in catches (39) and yards (507). He scored only one touchdown, but proved he could be a legit threat as a pass-catching tight end whenever Jordan Reed was sidelined. Headed to the open market, Paul will be a potential low-cost bargain wherever he ends up. A former receiver, Paul is definitely a name for fantasy players to keep an eye on. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Helu's 83 yards from scrimmage were his second most of the season. He closes the book on 2014 the owner of 693 total yards, 477 of which came through the air. Helu is one of the game's very best change-of-pace backs, and owns a career 4.43 YPC. Helu deserves a bigger role, and headed to the open market, could earn one in free agency. Advice: Hogan was a revelation as the Bills' slot receiver, gaining 426 yards and four scores on 41 catches across essentially 12 games. Hogan excelled in the slot in 2014, but that could be the domain of Robert Woods next season as the Bills look to upgrade their receiver corps. Charles Clay secured 5-of-6 targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' Week 17 loss to the Jets.

Advice: Clay finishes his contract year with 58 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns. He battled a knee injury for most of the season and struggled to establish a consistent role in first-year OC Bill Lazor's system. When healthy, Clay is one of the league's most underrated H-back/tight ends. He turns 26 in February. If the Fins let Clay hit the free agent market, he should generate plenty of interest because of his versatility. The Fins would be smarter to "buy low" and lock up Clay for the next few seasons. Advice: Kerley's 2014 campaign ends with 38 receptions for 409 yards and one touchdown. A sure-handed slot receiver, Kerley played behind Eric Decker and Percy Harvin for most of the year. This past October, the Jets signed Kerley to a four-year, $16 million extension that ensures he'll be back in 2015 despite anticipated front-office turnover. Advice: Thomas scored an early goal-line touchdown and was otherwise quiet. The pedestrian veteran finished the season with 44 carries for 168 yards (3.82 YPC) and two TDs. Thomas was initially cut by the Dolphins, but re-signed when they lost Knowshon Moreno. If 27-year-old Thomas has a future in the league, it's as a low-end No. 2 or higher-end No. 3 running back. Advice: Cameron got loose down the middle for a 30-yard gain in the first half, but was held in check the rest of the game. It was a quiet finish to a disappointing season for Cameron. Dealing with a concussion and shoulder injury throughout the season, the contract-year tight end managed just 24 catches for 424 yards and two scores across 10 games in 2014. Turning 27 just before the 2015 season begins, Cameron is young enough and talented enough from someone to take a chance despite his long concussion history, but he will likely have to settle for a short-term, prove-it deal. • Kyle Rudolph held catch-less in Week 17
Kyle Rudolph was held catch-less in the Vikings' Week 17 win over the Bears.

Advice: We noticed Rudolph on an impressive block to spring Matt Asiata for a first-half run, but otherwise he was quiet coming off multiple injuries. Dating back to Notre Dame, Rudolph has been incredibly injury prone, and he missed seven more games this year, finishing with a disappointing 24-231-2 receiving line. Still only 25 years old, Rudolph is locked up long term in Minnesota after GM Rick Spielman handed him a new six-year, $37.5 million deal this past summer. Although Rudolph plays under typically tight end-friendly OC Norv Turner and in a promising passing attack, his Dynasty outlook is suspect. Rudolph is a quality red-zone target, but isn't quick enough to consistently defeat linebackers or safeties in coverage. He'll be better viewed as a TE2 in 2015 re-draft leagues. Rotoworld.com

DeMarco Murray rushed 20 times for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' Week 17 win over the Redskins, adding three receptions for an additional 21 yards.

Advice: Murray finishes 2014 with 1,845 yards rushing, and having surpassed 100 yards on the ground in 12-of-16 contests. His 2,261 yards from scrimmage are 13th most all time, while his raw rushing total is 17th. Murray's 1,845 yards on the ground are a new Cowboys record. Advice: Struggling along with the rest of the Ravens' offense entering the fourth quarter, Smith put the team on his back in the final frame. Down 10-6 with time winding down, Smith ran past Joe Haden for a 53-yard gain to put the Ravens deep into Cleveland territory. Flacco then hit Smith for a 16-yard score on the very next play. • Shorts catches 5-of-10 targets in Week 17
Cecil Shorts caught 5-of-10 targets for 47 yards in the Jaguars' Week 17 loss to the Texans.

Advice: He also tossed a 23-yard touchdown to Jordan Todman. Shorts' season ends with a disappointing 53-557-1 receiving line. Shorts battled hamstring issues all summer and ended up missing the first two games of the season. He later missed one more game, but managed to stay relatively healthy. The production wasn’t there, however. We can’t place all the blame on the quarterback because Shorts played with Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne in the past. Shorts was more hurt by the additions of Allen Robinson, Marqise Lee, and Allen Hurns at receiver, making him just a part of the offense instead of the go-to guy. After torching defenses for long touchdowns the previous two seasons, Shorts had just one 50-plus-yard catch. Shorts is set to become a free agent in March. The smart money is on the Jaguars moving on without Shorts. Rotoworld.com

Jordan Todman rushed for 52 yards on seven carries in the Jaguars' Week 17 loss to the Texans, adding five catches for 46 yards and one touchdown.

Advice: Todman saw extensive snaps after Toby Gerhart was injured early. He wraps up the season with 186 yards and one touchdown on 32 carries, adding 25 catches for 198 yards and another score. Merely a third-down back and pass-blocking specialist, Todman played just about 300 snaps this season behind Denard Robinson, Toby Gerhart, and, at times, Storm Johnson, though his role remained steady on a weekly basis. That appears to matter little to coach Jason Garrett, who has been consistent the starters will play a normal role Week 17. • DeMarco appears to be finished for the day
With the Cowboys leading 35-0, DeMarco Murray (hand) is getting the tape cut off his hand and appears to be done for the day.

Advice: Murray played 30-of-49 offensive snaps before getting pulled, turning 22 carries into 58 yards and a touchdown. He was not targeted in the passing game. Murray was clearly hampered by the hand injury. He carried the ball almost exclusively in his right hand and seemed wary of using his hands to block in pass protection, instead attempting to essentially tackle the blitzing defender. Murray did not suffer any setbacks, but with the NFC East already locked up, the Cowboys may decide to rest Murray in the season finale against Washington. Rotoworld.com

    • Charles Clay goes 6-114 against Vikings
Charles Clay secured 6-of-10 targets for 114 yards in the Dolphins' Week 16 win over the Vikings.

Advice: The Vikings have been stout versus tight ends all season, but Clay went to work on short and intermediate patterns, racking up three receptions for 40 yards in the first half. He was "vultured" in the red zone on a 14-yard touchdown pass to No. 2 tight end Dion Sims in the second quarter. Clay sparked Miami's offense on a third-quarter gain of 41 yards. We have very little beef with what first-year OC Bill Lazor has done with Miami's 2014 offense, but underutilizing Clay could be one quibble. The Dolphins will close out their season in Week 17 against the Jets. Rotoworld.com

    • Torrey Smith catches 2 more TDs in Week 16
Torrey Smith caught five passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens' Week 16 loss to the Texans.

Advice: He and Steve Smith Sr. were both targeted a team-high 12 times. Torrey was left wide open on his first eight-yard touchdown before later scoring from 20 yards out on a screen pass to the right. Torrey's season started slow, and while the yards aren't there thanks to drops and miscommunication with Joe Flacco, he now has secured a career-high 10 touchdowns. Jeremy Kerley caught 3-of-6 targets for 54 yards in the Jets' Week 16 loss to the Patriots.

Advice: Kerley's yardage led the team in what was a sloppy slugfest. The PPR deep cut enters next week's finale against the Dolphins the owner of a 37/376/1 line. Rotoworld.com

    • Randall Cobb leads Packers in receiving
Randall Cobb had 11 catches for 131 yards in Sunday's Week 16 win over the Bucs.

Advice: Both were career highs for Cobb, who finished with a team-high 14 targets. Cobb took advantage of a matchup with Bucs CB Leonard Johnson, posting his first 100-yard game since Week 11. He's now up to 87/1,207/10 line. The Packers can win the NFC North with a win over the Lions next week. Rotoworld.com

    • Shane Vereen turns in another dud vs. Jets
Shane Vereen rushed six times for 38 yards in the Patriots' Week 16 win over the Jets, adding a 12-yard reception.

Advice: Vereen entered the game to high expectations in the absence of LeGarrette Blount (shoulder), but as has become his custom, couldn't deliver. Vereen found himself in a three-man committee with Jonas Gray and Brandon Bolden, with six of his touches coming on one third-quarter series. In Vereen's defense, he should have gotten the ball much more. Vereen looked spry in the open field, and went for five or more yards on 5-of-7 touches. Vereen will do battle with the Bills' slumping run defense in Week 17. Rotoworld.com

    • Cameron goes 3-88-1 against Panthers
Jordan Cameron secured 3-of-5 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' Week 16 loss to the Panthers.

Advice: Cameron was silent until the fourth quarter, when Brian Hoyer hit him for a dramatic 81-yard touchdown to give Cleveland the lead. It ultimately wasn't enough as the Panthers came back to win on a Cam Newton nine-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Stewart. It's been a lost fantasy year for Cameron, but his ability to produce was never in question. He'll look to finish strong in a Week 17 date with Baltimore. Rotoworld.com

    • Jacquizz Rodgers gets an extended look
Jacquizz Rodgers rushed 11 times for 29 yards Week 16 against the Saints.

Advice: Rodgers got an extended run out with Steven Jackson sidelined by a quad injury late in the first half. Rodgers ran hard as he always does, but there is simply not enough talent in his legs to be a feature back. Devonta Freeman will be the Falcons' best bet to move the ball if Jackson is forced to miss Week 17 against Carolina, but Rodgers will likely lead the backfield in touches. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarco Murray officially active for Week 16
DeMarco Murray (hand) is officially active for Week 16 against the Colts.

Advice: As expected Murray will play, but he may be limited by the cast on his left hand. Lance Dunbar should see more work in the passing game while Joseph Randle could siphon off some carries as well. With both RT Doug Free (ankle) inactive and RG Zack Martin (ankle) banged up, Murray could also be hindered by the health of the Cowboys' offensive line. Even with all the concerns, Murray has proven this season is a must-start option. Along with Free, the Cowboys declared DE Kenneth Boatright, DT Josh Brent, DB Jakar Hamilton, T Donald Hawkins, QB Dustin Vaughn and OLB Dekoda Watson inactive for Week 16. Rotoworld.com

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer confirms DeMarco Murray (hand) is expected to play Sunday, "though his role will be limited some" in the passing game.

Advice: The concerns on Murray primarily involve his pass protection and receiving. It's quite possible he won't have a single reception in Week 16. Look for Patrick Daugherty's final rankings, which will be up on Rotoworld shortly. Rotoworld.com

Shane Vereen (ankle) is officially active for Week 16 against the Jets.

Advice: As previously reported, neither Julian Edelman (concussion) nor LeGarrette Blount made the trip to New York. With Edelman sidelined, both Vereen and Danny Amendola will have bigger roles as pass catchers. The Boston Globe went as far as to suggest that Vereen will "pick up (Edelman's) slack." Also inactive for the Patriots are RB James White, CB Alfonzo Dennard, OG Dan Connolly, OT Jordan Devey and CB Kyle Arrington. Rotoworld.com

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports DeMarco Murray is "going to play" Sunday with a wrap on his surgically repaired hand, but the Cowboys are "nervous" about using him in pass protection.

Advice: RapSheet writes to not be surprised if Murray and other Cowboys rest next week if Dallas locks up a playoff spot today. On Sunday, we expect to see Lance Dunbar handle a few more snaps than usual in pass-pro situations. The Cowboys may also give Joseph Randle a heavier dose of change-up work. Murray is still a top-ten RB1 play against the Colts' leaky defense. Rotoworld.com

    • Dontrelle Inman puts on second-half show
Dontrelle Inman caught 7-of-9 targets for 79 yards Week 16 against the 49ers.

Advice: Substituted in for an ineffective Seyi Ajirotutu at halftime, Inman made his presence known early and often in the second half. He seemed to get open at will against the 49ers' secondary, and showed strong hands on several contested catches across the middle including a 4th-down conversion on the game-tying drive. A former CFL star, the 25-year-old Inman is a good bet to carve out a role in 2015 in the Chargers' nondescript receiver corps. He is an excellent add in Dynasty formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Kaepernick racks up 151 rushing yards in loss
Colin Kaepernick rushed seven times for 151 yards and a touchdown Week 16 against the Chargers, adding 114 yards and a score through the air.

Advice: With the 49ers dominating on the ground, Kaepernick was only asked to throw 24 times in a game San Francisco led 28-7 at halftime. Kaepernick's best play of the night was a 90-yard touchdown scramble in the third quarter. Kaepernick escaped pressure, put a move on Chargers S Eric Weddle and turned on the jets for the long score that appeared to put a stop to San Diego's comeback bid. It was all for nought, however, as two Philip Rivers' fourth-quarter touchdown passes and a Quinton Patton overtime fumble sealed the 49ers' fate. Despite the loss, Kaepernick appeared more willing to run for the second week in a row, and clearly showed the athleticism that once made him feared still exists. He is not a good real-life quarterback, but Kaepernick can be a quality fantasy option as long as he continues to run. Rotoworld.com

    • Report: Expecation is DeMarco Murray plays
ESPN's Ed Werder reports expectations are DeMarco Murray (hand, questionable) will play Week 16 against the Colts.

Advice: This report jibes with the general feeling around Cowboys' camp this week. Murray is fully expected to be active and start against the Colts, though he may lose some pass-game work to Lance Dunbar. Murray is a must start if active, but with RT Doug Free (ankle, doubtful) and RG Zack Martin (ankle, questionable) likely out, he may find less running room than usual against Indianapolis. Jordan Todman rushed five times for 71 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' Week 16 win over the Titans, adding two catches for five yards.

Advice: Todman had the play of the night in the fourth quarter. With the Jags running a fake reverse, Todman took the handoff, made one cut and was off to the races for a 62-yard touchdown. Todman showed serious speed in housing his first score of the year. He could be in for a bigger role in Week 17 if Toby Gerhart (ribs) can't go. Rotoworld.com

Advice: It was another brutal effort for a veteran in the midst of a disappointing season, as Shorts committed no fewer than three drops. In a sign of how Shorts' night went, one of his muffs was wiped out by an offensive pass interference penalty. Shorts won't be a recommended DFS play in Week 17 against the Texans. Rotoworld.com
