    • Still managing soreness
Richardson took a rest day at practice Thursday due to shoulder soreness, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Coach Shane Steichen said "there's nothing to worry about," per Boyd, and that Richardson would be in line to play were the Colts preparing for a game-scenario this weekend. Steichen added that Richardson had his shoulder checked Thursday morning, and it was confirmed that the quarterback is only dealing with soreness in his surgically repaired right shoulder. Richardson has been participating in 11-on-11 drills and throwing throughout OTAs, and some soreness as he ramps up his practice activities is to be expected. He remains on track to be full strength for the start of training camp late July. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:48 am

    • Anthony Richardson dealing with shoulder soreness
Colts HC Shane Steichen said Anthony Richardson is dealing with some soreness in his right shoulder.

Advice: Richardson was spotted participating in team drills but was noticeably throwing with his left hand rather than his right. Steichen downplayed the severity of the soreness Richardson is dealing with, saying the second-year quarterback still feels well enough to play in a game if it were that time of year. Richardson’s shoulder will remain a hot topic of conversation throughout the offseason after he played in just four games last year. Richardson’s ceiling for this upcoming fantasy season is as high as that of any quarterback in the league after he averaged an impressive 27.4 fantasy points per game in the two games he appeared in start-to-finish. • Limited to side work
Hall is working off to the side at Tuesday's practice, with coach Robert Saleh telling reporters the running back is "dealing with some lower half stuff," Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Hall was first spotted with the Jets' rehab group last Wednesday and is now confirmed to be dealing with a minor injury. It doesn't sound like anything that will still be an issue when the Jets start training camp in late July, but it's possible Hall is limited or absent during mandatory minicamp June 11-13. Braelon Allen, Isaiah Davis, Israel Abanikanda and Tarik Cohen are all candidates to take first-team RB reps while Hall isn't practicing. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:52 am

    • Says he's almost 100 percent
Richardson said Monday that his right shoulder is at about "95 percent" strength, per ESPN's Pat McAfee Show.

Advice: Richardson has been throwing in OTAs, including 11-on-11 drills, though he mentioned May 22 that there were still some days when his surgically repaired shoulder felt "a little achy." He seems to have avoided any major setbacks after October surgery and should be back to full strength without any restrictions for the start of training camp in late July. Richardson is often the fifth or sixth QB taken in early fantasy drafts, offering an unprecedented combination of size (6-foot-4, 244), speed (4.43 40) and arm strength. He had four rushing touchdowns and three passing scores on 173 snaps last year, playing two full games and less than half of two others. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:17 pm

    • A-Rich: ‘I’m at about 95 percent right now’
Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, Anthony Richardson said, “I’m at about 95 percent right now” when asked about his shoulder.

Advice: Richardson has been participating in OTAs and was reported back in April to be throwing nearly 40 passes per day. The Colts franchise quarterback continues to work his way back from a shoulder surgery that ended his 2023 campaign just five weeks into the season and is going to be counted on in a big way for the Colts in 2024. Richardson threw for 577-3-1 in the four games he appeared in last season while adding another 25-136-4 on the ground. The 6-foot-4, 244-pound phenom has already gone on record saying he doesn’t plan on changing up his playing style and said on the Pat McAfee Show that “some of the stuff that happened [last year] just happened,” seemingly chalking last year’s misfortunes up to bad luck. While there could be an argument for that, Richardson’s physical style of play will likely continue to cause concern for football fans and fantasy managers alike. However, his sky-high ceiling was on display at various points last season, which has resulted in fantasy managers taking him in the fourth/fifth rounds of fantasy drafts for much of the offseason. • Seemingly has minor injury
Hall was spotted working in the rehab area during practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Hall's presence with the rehab group suggests he picked up some kind of minor injury during a previous OTA session or workout. Any absences from team drills could free up first-team reps for Israel Abanikanda, Braelon Allen or Isaiah Davis, with recent signing Tarik Cohen potentially an option for third downs and two-minute drills. • The Texans and Nico Collins reach new deal
The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports the Texans have re-signed Nico Collins to a three-year, $72 million deal.

Advice: Collins’ breakout 2023 campaign (80-1,297-8) has paid off as he’s now contractually set as the Texans’ WR1. Even with Diggs being traded to the Texans, this comes as no surprise as Collins is the younger (and home grown) talent. Collins should be considered in the second round in all one-quarterback, redraft fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:18 pm

    • Inks three-year extension
Collins agreed to terms Tuesday on a three-year, $72.75 million contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Advice: Collins is coming off a breakout 2023 season in which he piled up a 80-1,297-8 receiving line on 109 targets (15 games), and even with Stefon Diggs in town on a one-year deal, Collins represents the future for Houston's wide receiver corps, as does second-year pro Tank Dell. While the addition of Diggs crowds the Texans' target distribution, as does the presence of capable pass-catching options like Joe Mixon in the backfield and tight end Dalton Schultz, this significant monetary commitment to Collins provides a bit of extra incentive for offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik to allow Collins and C.J. Stroud to feature the chemistry they demonstrated last season. If Stroud and the Texans can build off 2023 and hit the ground running, Collins should find himself as a frontman in one of the league's elite passing offenses. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:54 pm
